Seriously. LaTex feels like this weird secret club where the people who use it just chat amongst themselves about how to program new stuff into it, while everyone else is kinda just like... how do?
Thanks for saving my time, for my PhD journey! I thought LaTeX was complicated but it's really not like I thought 💭! Even if I'm still slow, I'm very confident with it now. ☺️🙏🏿
Your work is not just a tutorial; it’s a masterclass in sharing knowledge with grace and precision. It’s evident that you’ve poured not only your expertise but also your passion into creating this resource, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
this is brilliant! I'm 17, on school break and learning this - and I'm loving it ! Thank you, Ms Krummel

a 4 hour video .about LaTeX? I could never actually watch 4 hours on LaTeX or so I thought....but. I did! Ms. Krummel is the expert who made this video. She is obviously brilliant, yet still willing and able to teach to those striving to be. LaTeX isn't nearly as hard as I thought.. .Highest marks.

Finally.. LaTeX chapter. I learn so much from Ms. Krummel's LaTeX Video tutorials. She were explaining so clear. Thanks
This is perfect. I'm starting my first master's project in engineering now, and I've only used MS Word during my entire bachelors. Thank you for providing a great tutorial to Latex.
Ma'am, your LaTeX tutorial video is simply outstanding! Your expertise and teaching style are truly impressive. Thanks for making complex concepts easy to understand and for providing such a valuable resource. I appreciate your efforts and the quality of the tutorial. Well done!
Much needed video for engineers and researchers.
wow , I can't believe , totay our lesson in class was preparing a report by using LateX and tonight I'm facing with the tutorial of that . that is awesome !
Thank you for helping me to learn LaTeX and practice my english at the same time. I can understand almost evertything you are saying because you speak very well.
Just finished it, thank you Ms.Krummel and thank you everyone who participated in sharing this useful tutorial. I can now write my own documents and i can even learn how to make presentations myself using LaTex of course hahahahaha. thank you so much !
16:50 In window version, we can find the "preference" is equivalent to Option=> configure Texmaker or press "Ctrl and ," on keyboard at the same time.

Thanks for this tutorial. Well done. It made me remind when I learnt LaTeX back in the 90s when I used to code on a 386SX DOS-PC. Congratulations.
This is an exceptional tutorial. Very much recommended to beginners like me.
Super! I just wanted to start learning LaTeX - and here is tutorial. Awesome 😎
This is the best Tutorial for Latex on Internet❤❤ Thank you so much🎉🎉
I absolutely love the way she explained it with such ease. Thank you so much!
I have seen Michelle's earlier videos. She is one of the best teachers of LaTeX that I have come accross.

We use this to submit all our computer science assignments, it adds 1-4 hours just re-typing your work from pencil to LaTeX.

@Desi Boi personally I’ve only used it to submit assignments. I find it a waste of time since I’m doing unnecessary more amount of work that if I just scan to a pdf my pencil solutions on paper. Though maybe in the long term it’ll actually be worth something being familiar with LaTex, as for now it gets frustrating completing my solutions on paper then having to copy and paste in LaTeX for 1-4 hours.

@@manny5716 The best way to look at your situation is to recognize that you are getting 1-4 hours of latex experience every time you submit an assignment. That's super beneficial for you because you can start using latex in the future to make super professional looking documents.

This tutorial is a lifesaver. It is coherent, and comprehensive. The best LaTeX tutorial out there. Thanks, Michelle for this impactful course.
Reminds me of HTML without CSS. Always wondered what this LaTeX was all about.
Wow. This brings me back to when I had to learn this software on the fly for documenting my final year college project.

Very nice tutorial. I never used tables much so that was a welcome refresher. I was a total TeX/LaTeX nerd at university, wrote my master's thesis with it as well. These days I still use LaTeX to create presentation slides for work (because I loathe Powerpoint).
Michelle Krummel 02:52:42 saved my life. Been searching for this everywhere. Exactly like it has been narrated "i want the image RIGHT there!!". Thanks a lot
Great tutorials! Thank you, much appreciated! There's maybe a subtle issue though at 01:22:39, the dx and dy both letters are italic. In fact, the "d" should be upright, because it's not a variable.
An excellent course on LaTeX. Well done, I learned a great deal.
Thank you for this fantastic course. You have presented this in a very interesting and informative style. You helped me a lot!
best LaTeX tutorial out there! tysm
Much needed tutorial . unfortunately I had a latex typesetting for my one of semester exams subject part in previous month hope to follow this tutorial for create my final year project documents☺.
Thank You, this tutorial is all one would need to get started with LaTeX.
I thank you dearly for this tutorial. Complete standout quality pedagogy.
I just started learning LaTex and this is really helpful. Thank you
Step 1. Get a template from the semester above you Step 2. Maintain that template and use it until you graduate Step 3. Pass the template on to semesters below you, repeat!

That's what I did 😂 Overleaf (online látex editor) has tonnes of good templates, even for resume and letters.
Yes, we did it!!!!
Thank you Michelle. I really do appreciate this video.
Ahhhh I would have LOVED this whilst I was a student. Great stuff FCC.
After pen and pencil, then a typewriter (manual first; electric, later), I used troff. I eventually discovered Teχ, and then LaTeχ. Of course, this was before the Earth cooled. Wonderful programs!

Team troff here! I still use it to type up policy and protocol notes for my IT team. They think it looks wonderful, and can't figure out how to do it in MS Word. 😂
Finally, That is what I'm waiting for 🔥🔥🔥
Oooh this is very exciting! 😁💯. I love these crash courses that bring us up to speed in a hurry!
This has been an excellent tutorial! Thank you very much! One thing I noticed, was that I could simply type the on my keyboard to get the left and right angle brackets and it compiled just fine. I don’t know if that was specific to my keyboard? I’m on a Mac laptop.
Oh my god.... Finally I have learnt this latex only because of this video....iam so thankful to you 🙏❤ thank you so much for the video ❤️
I used Latex for some documenting in the CS years really nice
This would have been so useful a few years ago for writing my dissertation
Finally! Perhaps for next one you need to cover more about Beamer Presentations.
Such a good tutorial! Love it!
First thing I want to thank you very much , this video is so much clear and make me understand why and How to use this complex code now I finished hour from it i will continue it in another day in the end of that thank
Bro I ordered a book on this a few days ago. Perfect timing.
I thought LaTeX is sime kinda a markup language,. But this is awesome. I used to search for unicode for a specific math symbol and paste it on my document. I found a way to add them all like this one. Thank you.
Display Style 1:00:35 or 1:05:00 Space Between lines 1:02:40 Expand size of parenthesis & brakcets ro adjust to the content inside 1:19:30 Tables 1:26:20 Paragraphs in a Table 1:44:00 System Equaton or Equation Array 1:46:00 List Beginning with another thing than bullets 1:57:15

She is an amazing educator. 🤩
Learning this for my first year as a comp engineering student next year
Great tutorial! Thank you so much.
Oh the haunting memories of my PhD thesis come back! There was no LaTex tutorial on youtube.. we all mostly learned when we had to type the thesis for defense haha
I think it is good for Students and Teaching professionals who regularly submit articles and publish papers.
Great course, thank you!
Fantastic. Thank you so much!
highly enjoyable tutorial. Thanks.
this is amazing and helps mw with college so much thank you
Great tutorial we need more about latex
first video I see where the pronunciation is Latek, instead of L-ah-tek. Thanks for the video. I will be checking this one out later.
completed till - 1:26:07 thankyou ma'am u r the best
Thanks for all, excellent course.
LaTeX..... It's simple to learn and looks professionall.
loved this, thank you so much.
nyyohhhhh u roll these like the freaking plague and I can't stop myself hopping from one tutorial to another. They're all so interesting and applicable to my studies. keep at it tho
Even better tex editor is texstudio which is a fork of texmaker on many aspects including synergy with 3 rd party tools such as tikz, pstricks, asymptote and son on ..
I really need this, thanks!
Thank you very much Ms. Krumble!
Waiting for this video for a long time
Very good introductory lessons. As for the spaces at 1:02:07, '\\ command' gives me a error, so I just use '\smallskip " Or \largeskip' And that works for me. It could be that we are both using different versions of the updates
Thank you Ms. Krummel
Maam you're a godsend! Thank you!
I can't thank you enough for this tutorial!
Hi, I enjoyed watching the explanation, and hope the error at 1h40min is corrected. We don't say f(x)>0 => f'(x) is increasing but ruther the opposite. Thank you.
really needed this for my thesis🤣
This is useful at any time, thanks.
Thank you! It's easy to understand!
A must watch!
This was great, thanks!
Thanks for this amazing explanation.
if you write build latex files in visual studio code, it compiles just in time, without you to have to click on a button, but it could be annoying while typing because the error messages pop up instantly
Great ! that is what I need right now ! tks
As with past contributors, thank you sooo much!
This video is gold, i dare to state
Gracias por instruidos en este tema tan útil.
If I am preparing for a SDE role, then can this be useful? or leave SDE what is Latex mostly used for?
She's a fantastic teacher
I swear this channel can read minds!
Thnx.... Bcoz I need this... Please make more videos in useful apps and documentary tutorial which will we usefull for research area in computer science like robotics machine learning and all...
Holy cheeses! Just started learning Latex due to learning and working at cybersecurity sector. Just in time guys. Just in time!
Is Leslie Lamport's original book still the OG, or has there been new versions of LaTeX that have newer books? I used this for my thesis in the 90s.
