Latest Firmware 1.8 Install for BYD

Here are some of the improvement:
- Three fingers swipe to control air-con (swipe up ordown for temperature/swipe left or right for fan speed)
- Ambient light now follow music from Spotify
- Turn on/off the Pedestrian Warning
- Open and close booth
- Upgraded Map
- GPS location tracker on the App
- Voice command can turn on/off Spotify
- Still can use Defrost on/off to defog
- different tone for object detection sensor
I did jump from 1.6 to 1.8 straight without going through 1.7. It will restart at least two times before you get to see the license screen.

This is for Atto it is located in the folder V1.8(2403)

Thank you for the tutorial, it is very well explained. However, there is something I don’t understand. I followed the entire procedure to obtain version 1.8. In summary, I downgraded to version 1.5 to install certain applications. Then, I installed version 1.8, knowing that I initially had version 1.6 upon delivery. After installing version 1.8, I still find myself with version 1.6. What happened? I don’t understand. Thank you for your help. Best regards

You don't have to bring it down to 1.5. I am not sure how you still end up with version 1.6. Can you please double check you have download the right version 1.8? Or post your firmware version number
I have byd atto 3 Chinese version.....can I get the international version firmware update so that I can get CarPlay support?

I'm not sure about this. If you have access to your current firmware, you might be able to downgrade if it is not working. But there is a risk it might not work.
Can you control at the last version is there Turkish language in the menu?

Yes, I just checked there is Turkish selection in the language settings
How long did it take and did u got wireless carplay?

It takes about 15-20 minutes with 2 restart. I didn't use Apple phone. But I heard people get the wireless car play.

@@teknolojikissizyes, you need to install Aurora app store and package manager unlocked. This will allow you to install additional app after upgrade. Tge sideloading capabilities will be disabled after the upgrade. you can check out my other video on how to sideload those app if you are still on the 1.6 firmware or lower.

Sevgili dostum, sideload yapabildiğin en eski versiyonda package manager unlock yükledikten sonra update yaparsan, sideload yapmaya devam edebiliyorsun. Eğer yapmazsan update yaptığında sideload bloklanıyor.

You can find my source at the website link above, if you are not comfortable with updating the firmware, then don't do it. I only posted the one that I have tested with my ATTO 3.
