It should not reduce speed but stil total length must not more than cable advisable length which you usesing.(cat 5 6 7 or now 8)

Use only IP Camera right now. Starlight category is latest. Dahua and hikvision is best in eco series. 1 outer area 1 at entry gate 1 at exit gate 2 camera at every row 2 camera on cash billing counter 2 camera on parking 2 camera in store 1 camera in staff room
