Latest build - 5 inch Tricopter

Fist it was a small tricopter. Then there was this burning bicopter. Then - another bicopter. Last but not least - I built this 5 inch tricopter.
It probably needs some tuning but I'm not sure it's worth the work. Quads are much more fun. :)
Note to self - center of gravity of a tricopter is 2/3 to the front. With a heavy servo in the rear you need to place the battery in front of the copter.

3D printed frame with Mode2 Interceptor arms.

Running Betaflight 4.2 RC4

Sounds fun! Remember putting battery as far to the front as possible for correct center of gravity!

How did you wire the motors and servo, I have an AIO DALRC F405 FC. I can't find any tutorials on how to wire them properly. Do you mind sharing your setup?

It was a while ago so I'm not sure if remember correctly but I think I used the LED pad to run the servo signal. Then I used a separate BEC to feed power to it.

have you tried reverse setup? Flying with single motor on front?

I used the Jhemcu GHF411 AIO 30A. Betaflight configured for tricopter.
Any links to a 4 wire servo?

Sorry but I don't know and I've torn it apart but I'd guess 300-350g without battery.
I did the same but it is getting me crazy,,, it is complitly unstable. what about your P. I. D

Pretty low pids as I remember but bad centre of gravity makes it un-tuneable. Put battery as far front as possible. You should be able to balance it on 1/3 from front propeller line.
Chinook helicopter is bicoter and it can fly

You need a separate bec for 6V and a common ground. Or is it a configuration issue? Remember there were some freaking stuff where servo was on a different channel in BF.
