Late One Night at Fazbears Frights

Фильм және анимация

Fazbear Frights The Horror Attraction may not be as you remember it, but it'll certainly scare your socks off. So for anyone who is unsure whether or not I am continuing the Vhs series. I just want to let you all know that I will no longer be doing remakes out of respect for Squimpus's wishes. However, I will be making my one original content following the same vibes as the previous entries. Since most of you have been asking for a good look at Vintage Springtrap. Here he is. Enjoy :)

I love the idea of Springtrap being treated like this caged attraction in Fazbear's Frights as opposed to this giant robot they just let walk around the building like the games implied him to be. It makes him feel more like an actual part of the show rather than some random extra prop they threw in last second. That, and the implication that his name came from the owners of the attraction calling him that is a really cool reimagining of the character that grounds him more in the setting. Great work here, it's always excited when I see you upload!

I’m sorry, but this brief showing of Fazbear’s Frights is genuinely terrifying. The fact that it’s pure darkness, the fact that Springtrap is kept in his own area with a KNIFE no less, and the fact that there is no sound of any kind until he activates, it really does feel like a horror attraction that’s designed to scare you. Amazing job as always Battington!

I love how a human scream is overlayed with the classic FNAF 3 jumpscare at 1:23. It really adds to the horiffic imagery of a actual body being inside the suit, because it implies not only can Afton still conciously move and think, he's also in unimaginable pain.

Okay, no joke: the part where Springtrap rips up his face to reveal the corpse inside of him was genuinely terrifying. The way the rubber stretches, the fact that you can see blood on the inside of the mask...it looks like Springtrap is ripping off his own skin. Like seriously, that scare was really well-done. The distorted face at the beginning was creepy as hell too!

And you know what the best part is? Because this is a horror attraction, people will think it was all done _on purpose._ They'll think it's all part of the act, just to scare them. No matter how much William screams, or scares, or even tries to beg for help, many people will get spooked, some people may even laugh... but none will ever feel threatened by him. They'll only see him as for what he was intended to be in this attraction. A mere prop. One could say that, since these people will constantly remind him of the fact they're free, and he's not, how he was once a dangerous, feared murderer but is now a freak show attraction, and how his very first victim and eternal tormentor will always be there to keep him in place, Fazbear's Fright is William Afton's personal hell.

Your take on Springtrap manages to do so much in such a short amount of time. Why is he in a cage, (apparently) programmed to say things that William Afton would say to one of his victims at the press of a button? Fazbear Frights seem to know he's really haunted by a child-killer, and are really just doing everything in their power to cage him up. It makes them seem more sinister as opposed to goofy and incompetent like they were in the games, and it lends a lot more credence to Springtrap as a deadly entity.

Haunted houses use cages like that to keep guests from touching the animatronics. We also know because of Afton's tapes that his voice doesn't sound like that. It's likely not actually Afton talking, but rather they just "restored" the Spring Bonnie animatronic with new scary voice lines someone else made for the attraction. Also, if they really were trying to detain him, why would they put a knife in his hand? There's a door behind him that's easily openable, probably for maintenance staff. Springtrap at first acts like this until the person’s flashlight starts to malfunction and he takes the time to hide momentarily, when he pops up again his movement is much more human now, unnerving as hell

Like someone else stated, the scream whilst he lifted it up was absolutely amazing because it was an overlayed scream of the man, with the Springtrap jumpscare playing as well, which I think is meant to indicate he’s in pain whilst he lifts his mask up, similar to ripping his skin with all the nerves. Very phenomenal and impressive Battington!

This has to be the best Springtrap Design yet! The way how he actually looks like an old Animatronic and not like a rotten Cucumber really sets the Deal, especially the actual Latex Rubber Mask and the fact that you gave him clothes. Nothing against Scott, I'll love his Work forever like we all do but I've got to admit that the unrealistic Animatronicdesigns really break the Emmersion of the Games. Your realistic Designs automaticly make the Animatronics better Horror Characters. I also have to say that the permanantly friendly, cheeky facial Masks are the best design choice you could've made for them. To be fair, there is something about the Face of William that makes me not like it that much... it looks to fleshy and expressive for a Zombie (like the way he can still move his mouth while it should rather have been gaping wide open for the entire Time) in my opinion and should have been way more crushed and deformed with no Expressions aside from the Mask. A more realistic take for the rotten Face like you did with the Suit would have fit better, I would have choosen a completely Skullyfied face with no Expressions and a permanently open mouth. Aside from that it's dope as Hell!!

It confuses me, as if you look at the exoskeleton of baddingtons springtrap it still has the fiberglass casing on it, so if he did lift the mask you should see the fiberglass, which you could argue makes it more spooky thinking about how that he is inseparable from the suit, unlike in the game were he can force the mask off to reveal his face were in this VHS he couldnt (if were going on the fiberglass base and all), making as if hes trapped and cant escape

Where Scott Cawthon was really good at creating a terrifying atmosphere with implications of the tragedies that followed it; the fans have proven they can show the sheer terror of the ideas Cawthon presented. For instance here, in fnaf 3, Cawthon explained that the spring lock suits are what caused the children and Afton to be killed. But the fans are the ones who actually have a faithful recreation that actually dives more into the pain and anguish the idea these spring lock suits imply.

  • @orcastrike7750
    @orcastrike7750 Жыл бұрын

Hey Batt! You probably won’t end up reading this but I have some important criticism regarding this video that I felt obligated to share. In your last entry, you did an incredible amount of good for the lore of your timeline, specifically by addressing and fixing a key issue with FNaF’s lore: the springlock suits. In the original FNaF lore, we’re meant to believe that a springlock suit is an entirely self-contained animatronic that can somehow completely compress itself to allow a human to fit inside. While this concept made zero sense, it was what allowed springtrap to exist in the form he existed in, IE a human corpse stuck in a suit while being interlaced and sort of attached to the endoskeleton, which would allow springtrap to walk around and move properly. Your vision of the springlock suits in Nonexistent Video is what I and a lot of others wished the springlock suits were like in canon lore: a special suit that can be worn by a human and used as a suit for a separate special animatronic endoskeleton. This concept is FAR more realistic than FNaF’s springlock suits. HOWEVER, unfortunately your springlock suit concept makes Springtrap’s existence kind of difficult to explain. If Afton died in the suit from springlock failure, that means that there was no endoskeleton inside it at the time. Springtrap relies on his animatronic components to move, but in this case he doesn’t have any. Meaning the only way Springtrap could move would be through magic or soul energy or whatever giving him the ability to use his decayed human body to move, despite said decay making it normally impossible for his body to move at all. You’ve mentioned you planned on making lore changes, and I respect that. Maybe one of those changes would be that Springtrap is more or less a zombie wearing a springlock costume that’s stuck to him. And I’d be fine with that. But that doesn’t seem to be the case as shown in this video. The way he acts before attacking the night guard is as if he’s had custom reprogramming done to make him a full fledged horror attraction. But the thing is…what would have been reprogrammed? There’s no endoskeleton inside of that costume, just a human corpse. Yet he acts as if he has an endo inside of him. Additionally, even if he somehow had an endo in him that could be reprogrammed alongside Afton’s corpse, that would mean that someone has had to open him up to perform the reprogramming, meaning someone at some point would have seen Afton’s corpse, and any sane person would immediately forget about making Springtrap into an attraction. FNaF’s original lore dodges this issue, because when you play the game, Springtrap has just been found. None of the employees or management at Fazbear Fright have had time or the opportunity to thoroughly inspect Springtrap to see if they can better utilize him for the whole experience, and frankly it seems as if they don’t really feel the need to. Here, however, he’s been completely reprogrammed and repurposed to be a working attraction, meaning someone had to have tinkered with him in order to make him behave how he does here. To conclude, I think if you want to keep exploring this idea of Springtrap, there needs to be an explanation for how he’s able to have been “programmed” with the absence of an endo, and how nobody seems to know that he is what he is despite his reprogramming necessitating an analysis or close inspection of some kind, which would alert anyone to his true nature and likely cause him to be discarded or ridden of, unless the person performing the reprogramming was aware from the start of his true nature and was choosing to say nothing.

I’ve brought this up in other fnaf content but animatronics like this aren’t usually directly programmed. They’re connected to an external computer. The fredbear animatronics were probably done on the ultra cheap so they probably utilized compressed air to make work. That wouldn’t require opening the robot up and just connecting a hose to the foot or something

This makes it even scarier knowing the murderer of all those children is actually *inside* their, suffering via the suit and the kids.

This 1 minute and 36 second video is scarier than anything Blumhouse makes.

1:25 proves that springtrap could have had a great jump scare in fnaf 3

Holy cow! This is incredible work as always! Vintage Springtrap being used in this way is an excellent idea. Thank you so much for this treat, Battington. I’m looking forward to Ep. Three of Harmony and Horror as well!

Five Nights at Freddy's 3 was my all-time favorite, and seeing a VHS series about it does it a TON of justice! Thanks a lot, man!

Glad you're still gonna do FNAF stuff! Whether you do small side videos like this one or kick start your own spin on the original FNAF story, can't wait to see it!

Damn. It's so brief yet so AMAZING!!! I love all the details making it feel far more realistic like having it's own dedicated attraction spot and having to have been plugged in to be part of the attraction, potentially inadvertedly bringing him back. I cannot wait to see more of this.

God every fnaf video he makes is a fucking banger (also his other projects but in terms of horror without the decade-old cringe from the fandom, this is top tier)

God, the fact that a child murderer trapped inside of a suit that killed the murderer by using springlocks just activates himself into the suit after the button is pressed. and the fact that the movements, the eerie music, and the pitch and behavior of its voice make it feel like it's supposed to be in one of those halloween stores, but at the same time it's not supposed to be because the knife the animatronic is holding is real and the movements and dialogue represents what the killer did to his victims. Bravo, Battington. 0:49
