Kitne achhe kalakaar, film actor, filmi singers, film directors aur music directors....kya Khoobsurat daur tha. Aaj bhi hum wohi filme dekh-te hain aur wohi surreelaiy geet sunnte hain... Uss Khoobsurat zamane mein dhoob - jaane ko jee chhaa- hataa hain.

At 48.40 Legend A R Rehman asks a question in English, not that Lata ji didn't understand it completely, but the way Javed Akhtar subtly repeats the question in Hindi without making the scene and flow awkward. Amazing man.

Gosh! Kis zamane me jee rahe ho yaar? She was the bread winner when her dad passed away when sha was still young! Sha had to take care of the family as she was the only bread winner. Don’t pay attention to gossip mongers!.

@@chandtripuraneni9592 please your track record is your track record. Lata was a great singer and had a great voice with it . 200% true . But Lata was not a great person. Of course she was devoid of warmth but was a dangerous politician. She hated Asha and did everything she could to abort her career. Asha had a tough life when she married that wife beater Bhosle who forced her to sing for her supper. Read Varsha Bhosle’s article in Rediff. Asha would do the rounds of studious with bruises and on top of that her sister would threaten top music directors she would not sing if they gave her work . Why dors the whole film world love Asha even today because they Know the Villian she had to deal with Everyone knows Lata Success but the truth few acknowledge. Full Marks to Asha and her Great Talent inspite of all the good compositions always went to Lata her sister Asha is a true playback singer which playback is all about. Be able to sing EVERYTHING
