Alison is the best thing to happen to British TV. She's had many of us with a laugh for years. I'm so happy he shouted her out. She's an absolute doll

0:16 They were promoting Blade Runner 2049, and I remember her opener: "Bleak, dystopian, an absolute nightmare - and that's just my interviewing techniques."😄👍

I randomly clicked on that interview this morning - before I'd seen this - and her perfect execution of that line singlehandedly turned my day from ☹️ into 😁 Then somehow it got even better - what a beautiful laugh she has!

I will never forget being at a hole here in Dublin pissed off my fucking face all night and still at it bright and early to watch the interview with Gosling and Ford. The chaos from start to finish cheered me up about whatever I was going through that had me supporting the Guinness family for two days. She's so sunny.

The opener to her tom cruise "the mummy" interview is better i think. "You're up against a female who's an unstoppable force of nature, but that's enough about me 😏"

For any non-UK viewers Alison Hammond first appeared on TV as part of Big Brother - the non-celebrity one. She didn’t win but has made the biggest career out of being on the show.

@@Chibbykins I didn’t realise she was 2nd person evicted either as I thought she would have done well. Turns out she was discussing nominations with someone (the other person actually won that series), so can see why she was both nominated and then evicted.

Her most notable moment in that series was when she tried to see over the wall in the garden by standing and then jumping up and down on a table. Characteristically she broke the table - Alison always gets herself into scrapes like getting stuck on door handles or falling in the garden 😂
