yeah, the whole point is that it's out of context clips where he's quoiting (WHAT HE SEES AS) "ridiculous ideas from the left," where what he says immediately before or after what's shown would have confirmed that. This lack of context is the whole point and the entire joke lol

I was really hoping this was one of the few times he was actually right about something. Like when he told Fox’s audience that wearing a mask isn’t that hard and should be done

@@samaraisnt it's a real pain in the posterior to do properly, most of the automated tools seem to be geared towards making instrumentals rather than acapella versions. I have to admit I haven't looked into this sort of thing for a while, maybe if I'm lucky there'll be some kind of AI tool that does exactly what I want and isn't tied to some other overpriced shit that nobody wants. If so, I'm in.

Not out of context. This is just the part of his show where he sarcastically pretends to express opposing viewpoints before mocking them. Oliver’s pointing out that this is the only way to string together 60 seconds of him being close to right about anything.
