This was excellent. I followed the routes on google maps. I spent my whole life in Appleton and its amazing how much things have both changed and remained the same.

I live in Appleton. We just got done watching this video in class today, and it's so fascinating to see how much the town has changed since then... Truly amazing!

I grew up in Appleton at Pierce and Prospect. You went right past the house! What a great trip!

Joan Davis (Continuity) in the credits missed one item. She threw the canteen, but neither retrieved it before heading back. I enjoyed this film.

That was my mom, Mary Jane Stumpf née Ristow talking about the phone in her house, and about Grandpa Gus Ristow. She never told me about this video. I bet that she never saw it. Does anyone know who she was talking with, was one of my aunts? Mom passed away at 95 a couple, three years ago. Aunt Elaine’s funeral is tomorrow, 7/6/18. Just like the trolley, there’s been a lot of changes.

They used Edison style lamps as street lights back in the early 1900s. Did they came with 500, 700, or 1000 watts back then?

Who made this video? I'm curious about how my mom ended up on it, apparently with one of my aunts talking about grandpa Gus Ristow, who worked on that trolley, and with the railroad. I remember her telling us that same story about their phone and his job on the tracks.
