SPOILERS and then the akane jail fight comes along and kicks you in the nuts precisely once and then the HEEEEEY hops you on enough adrenaline to finish ~10 boss fights in a row and even then it's barely enough to scrape by a win after dashing like a cracked up rooster for 10 minutes

Honestly the og and this version of the soundtracks are both incredible!

I love how they changed this song from the standard battle theme to basically the "be ready to fight the hoard" battle theme. Always made me excited to hear it in Strikers

@@jonathanmarks3112 I always interpreted it as a double reference to Joker playing with his foes (you can see he really enjoys battle and the control he has over it due to his general smugness and grins during fights, Strikers references it even further by having him actually enjoy the stereotypical hero role he's given in one of the Jails depending on your dialogue choices) and to his relationship with Pancake as they both try to outwit each other throughout most of the game but ultimately, Joker keeps winning and is well aware of what Pancake is trying to do.

I love how sparingly they used this in game. It's only used in moments when a giant fight breaks out or the Theives are basically guaranteed to ambush someone. This makes songs like this, Life Will Change and Daredevil all the more special when they show up. *Spoilers* And when this plays for EVERY FIGHT in the Tower Of Life, it feels so goddamn triumphant, like the Phantom Thieves have no chance of losing to these enemies.

Gonna be honest, I found Last Surprise to grate on me when I got near the end of the game. This reignited my love for it.

To think perfection could be perfected, I feel so powerful while this is on and the whole game in overall gives me DMC-levels of power fantasy vibes.

I swear that when this started to play for the first time after the cutscene i couldn't be happier, i LOVE they kept this for important battles only

This vs the normal one perfectly encapsulates the differences between those games without losing anything as a song itself

Hearing this song during the "distraction" in the first jail was such a rush of adrenaline, what a bombastic way to begin the adventure.

When this started playing at the very beginning of the game I almost screamed with hype

I also love how fast paced it is because it shows that the phantom thieves aren't playing around at this point. They're storming up to 6+ jails in a month. Goes to show that things are faster paced and more urgent. I love it

The original is smooth af and played perfectly for the turn based system. This one is perfect to the ass whooping you get to lay down in Scramble. Both work at the same level of hype for me.

I love how the music fits the more intense gameplay that is persona 5 strikers. I Especially love the heavier use of the electric guitar

God I remember hearing this for the first time in the fight against shadow emile, shit kicked ass

After +100 hours of turned base combat the hack'n'slash musou insanity of this game really fits well with a more "metal" version of its own soundtrack.

Whenever I hear this song I think of me constantly phantom dashing around the street lights when fighting Black Frost for a late-game request. lol that fight took forever

This has my two favorite things. Rock, and amazing persona music

I love mirror matches in games so much. And this song makes it all the so much better

you see the Hoard of Shadows in front of you, it's you vs. the army, and you know this. This music comes on, and even if you've NEVER played or looked at a Musou game in your life, you know exactly what's about to happen here: You're about to go on a Rampage to make the DOOM Slayer proud, looking and feeling like a total badass while doing it, and this was going to be your new normal for this game.

i love it when this music takes oveer for the dungeon mini bosses fights. when im stomping on them its good but when im making a come back its even better because that means more of it gets to play
