Ted Warren returns from WW1 to find that everyone thinks he was dead. The culprit is Kent who intercepted his mail, rustled the Warren cattle, took over the Warren ranch, and is now after Ted's girl friend. When Kent's henchmen fail to kill Ted, Kent shoots Ted's father and leaves him for dead. But only wounded, the plan is to have Warren appear as a ghost to get a confession from Kent.

Great movie. Better than most
Tale of two ghosts and one of many Steele King smack downs. Margaret Marquis is wonderful as the long-suffering fiancée and Horace Murphy is great in the sidekick role. Lafe McKee, Blackie Whiteford and Charles K. French round out a terrific cast. Writer, director and father Robert N. Bradbury comes in first with Last of the Warrens.
Bob Steele a fine actor.
Charles King always did a great job. Making him Bob's badman was a good move.
bob steele like alan ladd,sure knew how to throw a punch and make his fight scenes realistic.
Nice to see a guy who doesn't immediately go down unconscious from a blow to the noggin.
