Amazingly proud of what the boys did yesterday, my voice is so sore, and even Majority of Man united fans say are winner wasn't offside. 💙💙

I love the passion of real football fans, and watching this, you can only start to feel part of it. Coventry really fought for that, and from 0-3 down, for almost all of the second half, the championship team made the top-six premier league team look poor. I cheered for every Coventry goal, and felt the pain when that goal for a 4-3 lead was disallowed, where the Coventry player was deemed to be one millimetre offside. Even as a Preston fan myself, I was cheering for Coventry here by the end. Man U did not deserve to win that, and Ten Hag is lucky to still have a job. Great video, loved it.

As a life-long ManU fan... your boys deserved to win. ManU owned the first half. Coventry City dominated the second half and overtime. It was just a fluke offsides on the game winner that saved ManU. I genuinely feel bad for Coventry City. It should be you in the final.

FA cant have a big team like united lose to a lesser class team.

I’m relatively new to football and I’m sorting out what teams I follow/like. I’m an American so I don’t really have any allegiance to any particular team or area. I have been supporting a team in each level of pro football. In the Championship league I have been supporting Coventry primarily because I follow your channel. I was so proud of their play against Man. U.; I’m so impressed by them. Following the game yesterday on my phone, I kept thinking that you guys were just going crazy watching it there at Wembley. Although they lost they have really cemented my heart in their favor.

I couldn’t hardly watch this knowing it was a so cruel defeat. I am not even a Coventry fan, I am Ipswich. Most heartbreaking game I have ever witnessed. Depressing.

Definitely an FA Cup classic. Penalties are either glory or heartbreak. Now to finish the championship with some momentum. 💙♥️🤘🤘

I don’t mind losing, my biggest fear was getting totally humiliated by a 6-0 score line. This match was the litmus test of whether we are ready for the Premier League and I think we proved beyond doubt that we are. Despite not coming away with a win and that ‘questionable’ VAR decision against Wright that denied Torp’s late winner, Coventry left Wembley yesterday with our heads held high and with renewed dignity and respect from the entire footballing community. We won so much more than a football match yesterday.

@@Norwich_News you gain momentum by playing well dont just happen out of thin air them playing better is expected because they are a big six prem team but at the end of the day it went to pens which made it heartbreaking and we also had a goal ruled out in the last minute like if they won 3 nil i’d be like thats expected but we did well to get this far obviously still proud of the players but it hurt way more to get out this way me saying them being better wasn’t the point of my comment

Agree. At the end it was Cov who took the applause from their fans and Man U sloped off in embarrassment.

Absolutely gutted but also very very proud of our performance second half onwards, robbed by VAR so count yourselves very lucky Utd. Cheering on the mighty Sky Blues down under in Adelaide, so tired at work today after only 2hours sleep, but so worth it 💪👕

We did have some luck in the Covid season when we were top and they ended the season.

So sorry for all you Cov fans you should all be so proud of the performance your team put in. It gave me goosebumps seeing your fans still cheering your team on after the game.

Unlucky Matt. I'm a Forest fan, but you and Sophie have made me pay attention to Coventry and I was definitely Sky Blue for the day against Man Utd. What an experience that must have been for all those in the stadium. Being at Wembley seeing this game live, I couldn't believe what I was watching when the goals started to fly in for us. When that equalizing goal went in, you could feel the energy in the stands and I remember thinking that we could beat these sods. The noise when that disallowed goal from Torp went in was insane, I thought for a minute that we would be going to the FA Cup Final and no dodgy VAR lines on a TV screen will ever take that feeling away. Didn't expect to win the game beforehand so not upset, tomorrow's another day, back to pushing for promotion to the promised land (might be too late this season but this squad, with a few additions in the summer, is good enough to be a real threat next season). I've never been more proud to say that I am a Coventry City fan, the players and the fans did the club and the whole city proud and the whole world watched. PUSB

Coventry comeback the stuff of dreams…it’s why we love the cup. The cruel denial of the winning goal is heartbreaking. I think if any part of the attacking player is level with the last defender it should be advantage to the attacker unless it is flagged….var needs to be used only for blatant errors. I would also like the var officials to be heard through the process like in Rugby Union. Good luck Coventry as you have won over many neutrals after this remarkable cup run v Wolves and Man Utd yesterday.

agree. I think there should be a margin, whereby attacker gets benefit of doubt (particularly if it wasn't given offside by lino or ref already)

If it hadn't been for the goal-keeper's mistake for the first goal, we'd have restricted Man U to one goal in the first half.

Coventry fan in Canada who actually traveled back for the 1987 final, thought l was on my way again, great performance. Really proud.

It was technically offside but by such a stupidly tiny margin, without VAR the goal would've probably been allowed. At least we embarrassed Man U and showed how good we can be to everyone.

It's a shame, we never seem to do well with the 3 centre backs which inevitably made it a back 5. Robins does this quite often. Amazing difference the change to the back 4 and the triple substitution made! You can't give United a 3 goal start and we were robbed at the end when Torp scored the winner.

That was a mental game, Coventry more than matched Manchester United

I was at Wembley yesterday, our fans were absolutely brilliant. Even when Callum missed his Pen we broke into song. Wish we had started on the front foot like we did with Wolves, we let Utd play in that 1st half. Was happy Joel went off he was having a poor game, and surprisingly eccles was struggling. Viktor really showed his class, hoping he makes more starts. But the amount of chances we had in extra time were insane, Haji / Godden / Simms, just missed that last bit of brilliance, not to mention Torps rocket for Onana to save. We move on, I hope we take inspiration now now and bring it back to CBS for the Hull game!

I don't think I've ever seen a match ending like it did. And I don't mean a winner cancelled by VAR to then lose on penalties. I mean, I've never seen a side or set of fans more embarrassed to win a game of football and qualify for a final in my life. That says a lot about our performance yesterday. It's a shame we didn't start on the front foot, because we could have won that game outright, although at the same time, I think Mainoo and Garnacho would have stayed on the pitch if it was close, which I think certainly contributed to the turnaround

Coventry were amazing. I told two of my friends who are Man Utd fans that though they will be 2-0 up in the game Coventry might come back You score often at the last 15-20 minutes.
