Yeah, he built the original tower and brought all the members together, getting them to bond over jokes and trust. He built it from the ground up, but when they kicked him out after he turned red, that's when it started to fall apart.

@@SpairM Well, they couldn't trust Grian, as he was red and knew where the wither skull was, and the fact that he suddenly died probably brought home the fact most of them could go red with just one death. So even when Grian came back, it couldn't last.

I love how this animatic makes Grain and Bdubs seem insane, Grain in more subtle way.. Really makes me think about these events in mumbo and Etho's perspective rather then Grain and Bdubs. I really love how grain is pretty much threatening mumbo with the pickaxe throughout his part.

@@logandamudkip4212 Usually the wings are just a reference to his elytra prowess, though they're often drawn as red parrot wings as a reference to his "pesky birds". He also sometimes has small wings drawn as his "ears", if the artist wants to make him actually "avian", and I think also to symbolise his prankster nature (perhaps through the similarity to mythological Hermes/Mercury).

The transition from Etho to Grian at 1:50 (more precisely 1:55) captures their Last Life personas so perfectly. Etho is firmly focused and never once truly tempted by Bdubs, whereas Grian seems eerily calm but his twitchy eyeballs give away his instability and desperation.

1:50 (ish) is genius! Ethos taking his mask off and BDubs in a genuine moment of shock because he knows this is getting serious, the attention to detail!! As well as Grian able to grow and ungrow(?) wings is an amazing way to portray he’s amazing with Elytra and a good poke at Hermitcraft which both him and Mumbo are in and the series Grian got addicted to wings in 😂 but seriously this is insane and I’ve already watched it many times!!

I've watched it so many times, its so good that I subscribed.

Parts that stood out to me: 0:49 The way you managed capture the sadness in Ethos eyes just killed me! 1:08 The way you managed to make Mumbo seem confident yet still show how he was nervous. 1:21 THE SPIN! And then the sadness in Bdubs’s eyes. 😭 1:32 the flip! Beautiful! 1:46 the way Etho takes off his mask so Bdubs can see his whole face and see he’s serious about this. 2:27 You somehow managed to perfectly capture the sadness, loneliness, and craziness in both of them. 2:31 Finally, Etho looks like he isn’t going to even give it a second thought, it’s just a “no,” and he has a plan. And then, Mumbo looks like he feels sorry for Grian but he won’t turn red for him. Beautiful!

i REALLY love how you differentiate the power imbalance between both pairs, with grian and etho being the ones in control (despite bdubs being red, not etho). in the first shot of mumbo and grian, mumbo is the one backing up nervously and sweating while grian is the one advancing in, whereas with bdubs and etho, it's the opposite--etho is the one in charge of the conversation, sitting down first and looking steady and unwavering. mumbo avoids eye contact and averts his glance constantly, while etho is constantly staring right at bdubs, usually looking down at him from above. the final frame shows it best, with etho unimpressed squinting, and mumbo's wide-eyed panic. so much thought went into every frame and it's incredible and i genuinely can't stop watching and picking up on different things, AMAZING WORK

Notably, it's those two in power that actually end up *doing something* to heal the rift, Etho by trading with Scar for a life (never actually losing anything, because Etho) and Grian by coercing Scar into giving up a life. The parallels are delicious.

That last look of Mumbo's isn't one of panic. To me it's more of a 'God damn it, you're my best friend. Why did it have to come to this? Why do we have to be on opposite sides? Why is our friend group (the Southerners) fracturing?' look. Even though Grian's just turned red and is asking to let him kill Mumbo, Mumbo can't bring himself to leave the rest of the Sourtherners even if it means going agaisnt his best friend now enemy. It's someone who misses his friend already but won't abandon the rest of their friends just for the one who left. He seems at least mildly resigned to his southern alliance even if they are genuinely good friends. He built a bunker base instead of a tower like the rest of them and was teased for it, he played it off as not bothering him when they could hear him but once they couldn't he seemed sad that they didn't like his base. Then there's the whole deal with the wall building in which he nearly ended up on the outside thanks to them not seeing his base which lead to more teasing. When he was finally turned red it only took one layer of blocks to block off Mumbo's access to the rest of the team and he jokes about how close he already was to exile and exclusion. If he wasn't part of a team and was just flying solo (or with only Grian) he probably would've taken Grian's offer and let him kill him. If he was the only one who'd pay the price for this deal and he'd remain by his friend's side, why shouldn't he take it?

All I see here are threat evaluations and tactics. When dealing with a desperate enemy of uncertain disposition the viable options are threat removal or pacification. Threat removal is disallowed under the metas of content creation and threat escalation. It's bad for business to eliminate a player early. It's bad for survival to be the first to eliminate another player. That leaves pacification. Bdubs is cowed relatively easily. He likes to think and plan and is unlikely to react in haste. A hard NO while letting him talk is a great way to defang him if he doesn't already have a mountain of TNT hiding a pool of lava over your base. Grian, on the other hand, will spasm and lash out and destroy himself when he's happy. Doc's ghast storage is a lovely example of that. When he's actually trying to accomplish a goal that requires killing people? Pacification doesn't exist. That leaves a less than viable tactic: delay. It's an inherently passive tactic which defaults the control of the encounter to your opponent and waits for him to make a mistake. And Grian is very good at making mistakes.

Now that Season 2 is ended, the irony of what occurs after this makes this even better. Your animating skills are simply stunning!!!!!

I'm absolutely freaking out over this! The pacing was matched so well with the tempo, you can feel the energy and the tension between the red lifers and the ones they're trying to convince. THAT CHOREOGRAPHY THOUGH!! I wasn't expecting Mumbo to just pull incredible moves on the ladders, and just seeing that like. It blew my mind. Etho almost "dancing" with Bdubs in a way, and how he spun, and then Grian actually flying circles around Mumbo like!! The dynamism and how you connected the two groups together with parallels and similar scenes, especially that last bit where it was the exact same fluid motion!! This was everything I could've imagined and even more, congratulations to you for finishing this project! You worked so hard on it, and it paid off BIG TIME

Id like to think in the last part of the song, it goes to Etho and Grian bartering with Scar about their lives. The haggling would switch between povs, with scar being the main focus and end with them shaking hands and gaining/getting the lives. The choruses being sung at the end can be together with their trusted other, maybe a duo dance like grian rushing into mumbo and flying them up together, while mumbo catches them both in the landing. Etho and Bdubs could tango, finally dancing without a wall between them. The last moment would be both of them joyous at their teams being reunited, while at the last moment, Scar dies.

This gave me a wonderful idea :0 “I’ll give you 7, we can shake and make it happen!” “Haha!” At 7 Scar gives a life to Bdubs and the “Haha” is Etho’s Boogey kill “I wasn’t born this morning, 18 would be just fine.” Scar respawning and leaving, only to come back to find his place trapped and Grian and Joel waiting for him “Why not just go ahead and ask for Nickels on the Dime?” Scar tries to barter and Grian starts threatening him. “15!” “I’ll do 8.” “12.” “Maybe 9.” Flashes of Scar loosing lives at the beats of the numbers. “10!” Scar yells this, extending his hands to gift 2 yellow lives as the music swells.

Last Life animatics continue to just hit different, this is *amazing.* The “we can still be friends” clip from 0:28-0:42 is probably my favorite bit, but the whole thing is legit great; special shoutout to Mumbo being extra while climbing that ladder at 1:32 XD

I think my favorite detail is 0:26, where Bdubs is singing about releasing Etho from the ‘walls’ that are keeping him trapped - except Bdubs is the one stuck inside a room, and the walls around him squeeze in closer in that shot.

THIS IS SO GOOD ETHO BRINGING DOWN HIS MASK THE WAY GRIAN FLEW SHOWING HOW FREE HE WAS THE FACT THAT MUMBO LOOKED GENUINELY KIND OF SAD BY THE FACT THAT HE HAD TO DECLINE AND THE SADNESS IN BDUVS EYES WHEN ETHO REJECTED HIS OFFER ITS SO GOOD

Now then. Here’s a more proper comment from me. The walking movements are just so fluid. No clue how you do it. I still haven’t figured out movement yet. Even the twitch and movement in Mumbo’s eyes. Then that boss pose of Etho and Bdubs facing each other. Like YES. The movement in the camera angle is amazing. It moves nicely and adds SO MUCH DEPTH to the piece. And I love the way you’ve chosen to draw Etho and Bdubs. AND THE ARM MOVEMENTS. THE SHEER AMOUNT OF MOVEMENT BDUBS DOES IN A FEW SECONDS. Gorgeous. And the flair of the arms- (The fact that you drew the missing tooth just really adds to that, “Bdubs has gone crazy” feel. THE SPINNING PIXAXE. HOW’D YOU DRAW THAT? LOOKS SO GOOD- AND THAT INTENSE MOVEMENT OF THE PICKAXE SWINGS AND ATTACKS BY GRIAN. I just-love it so much. Then the direct shove of it at Mumbo’s chest and that “oh no” look in Mumbo’s face. (Also, that huge ‘stache is amazing) And the small movements in Grian’s eyes. Almost a little twitch. He too, going insane. And you can see for a short moment, Mumbo considering the offer before Grian smashes his pick to the ground. (IN SUCH FLUID MOVEMENT MY WORD HOW’D YOU DO THAT?!) And the little bits of block breaking! That jump back to Bdubs is so good too. I love the transitions you’ve done. Bdubs trying to convince Etho to join him and then that expression of “no, not gonna happen” on Etho’s face. But then Etho gets up, turned away as Bdubs continues to “convince” him and there’s this look of perhaps concern for his friend, and possibly light consideration. And then they just grab hands and it looks so intense and cool (and HOW IN DA WORLD DO YOU DRAW HANDS DUDE?!?!?!) AND THEN IT GOES RIGHT INTO GRIAN AND MUMBO AGAIN!!! LIKE THAT’S SO NICE OF A TRANSITION I CANNOT- The hand movements Grian does- it really shows the confidence he has and even his ability of persuasion (whether or not it worked). And the little heart he holds!!! And then the “suddenly you’re free to fly” and he just takes off! The flying movements-I just love it. Just swooping and taking off and there’s so much energy in it- And then he just swirls all around the bridge over and over like the show-off he is- (AH IT’S SO PRETTY I MIGHT CRY-) And that glare by Mumbo. He’s so over this. And that face-palm of “no dude, I said it before. No.” And all those quick expressions-they’re SO GOOD MY GOODNESS. Just the hand movements. (And Grian’s wings in the background folding in on themselves. Nice touch.) And that ladder climb. (Once again. Expressions top-notch and they’re so unhappy with the other.) Going back to Etho and Bdubs and that move is SOOOO SMOOTH. Still in that stance of “I won’t back down” and then Etho just shoved him- I didn’t notice how funny it looked at first, but just pausing it mid-frame is killing me-Bdubs’ expressions-I can’t- The “really it’s something” part-Etho just holding his arms out and shrugging-just that pose (and the frame before with Bdubs just falling to the floor-pffft) But once again, those frustrated looks-The angry expression in Etho’s eyes-we don’t even need to see the rest of his face to clearly see his opinion on the matter. And Bdubs is just sittin’ there like his world has been crushed. TRANSITION TO MUMBO LEANING OFF THE LADDER AND THAT IS SO COOL LOOKING MY GOODNESS- AHHHHHHHH- And he just FLINGS THROUGH THE SPACES OF THE LADDER AND IT’S SO FLUID- (I’m shaking my arms because I’m trying to stay quiet in front of family but there’s too many feels-) And that climb onto the ladder again-his grip on the rungs. And the swing around the side of the ladder. AND AGAIN-THE HANDS. THE GRAB. AND THE MOVEMENT. SO FLUID I CANNOT SAY IT ENOUGH TIMES. IT’S GOT SO MUCH ENERGY. Arm movements and annoyance in Mumbo’s face again and it’s great. And the smooth camera move back to the blue colored peeps. (Once again, love how you draw Etho-really all of them-but especially him-) AND THE SHADOW THAT CLIMBS UP BDUBS AS ETHO STANDS UP- And that stare down. AHHHH And the pull of the mask. And the fist to the table. And we see mouth movement and it’s gorgeous too! And quick move back to the red. That pickaxe move again. SO SMOOOOOOOOTH!!! And the post of the camera pulled back from the two and then the quick zoom to Mumbo’s face. JUST THE MOVEMENT OF SO MUCH AS THE CAMERA ANGLE- And Grian just walking across the bridge. Still trying to convince Mumbo, but he feels less insane, only to flip back to Bdubs who’s eyes show a lack of sleep, unlike how he’s usual habit. “Take your walls and start “em breaking” AND THE HEART JUST SHATTERS. But like, this might mean lives, but that heart really represents a friendship(s) that have just been broken by this. AND TNEN THE QUICK FLASHES FROM GRIAN TO BDUBS LIKE AHHHHHH- LOVELINESS! AND ARM MOVEMENTS! AGAIN! And to go from Grian and Bdubs, almost talking like they’re sad, to that movement to Etho and Mumbo on screen, the divide in the middle. Just YES. And that expression. I like the different style between the two, eye and eyebrow shape different really standing out. Nice that they don’t all stay the same. There’s almost a different emotion between the two, Etho’s frustration and anger being more intense and Mumbo’s being more of a “I’m convinced of my ways” and less “I’m about to murder you because you won’t shut up.” I could talk ALL DAY. It’s so good! I can’t imagine how much effort this took, I mean I can-and it shows, and I really do congratulate you for finishing. It’s so long and it’s so detailed. Goodness gracious-I love it so much.

Chrisrin, you are just a master of the crazy eyes. Whether it's the sociopath eye twitch from grian at 0:33, or the manic eyes on bdubz at 2:18. Simply masterful. On another note, I love how the animatics always portray mumbo as kinda badass, even though everyone knows he's as much of a hapless goof as grian is most of the time 🤣

Etho is GORGEOUS in this, and I LOVED Mumbo’s swinging on the ladder, and Grian’s wings phasing in and out was INCREDIBLE.

Making Hermbi go off with a single link, like a boss. Good job Chris!

I love the part at 1:33 where mumbo is on the ladder. The movement is just so smooth and it makes sense in the way he moves. And then at 1:50 where etho slams his fist down, I LOVE IT. It isnt skippy with frames and you can see the movement. Amazing work!

I love the ending shot. Mumbo looks slightly conflicted and Etho looking completely determined is a grate end

The way you managed to flow between the two scenes so effortlessly is absolutely incredible! Their back and forth was so even and dynamic, I love it-not to mention that any animatic to this song is already guaranteed to be hype.

Good job, I loved it! Congrats on finishing such a large project. I especially enjoyed how Grian walks out of frame and Etho walks into frame at 1:44 , same for 0:53 (with Etho leaving frame and Grian entering frame) Very neat ^^

Literally every frame of Bdubs spinning away from Etho is amazing 1:21 use comma and dot to navigate between frames while paused

"Another one of the clowns" This line is made funnier by the fact he spent half an episode going AHA!

I can't believe I never made the connection between this song, it fits so well! and the animation is _flawless_ it's so smooth and its perfectly in time with the music. the body language. the expressions. the transitions between the two scenes. we got mumbo spinning on a ladder. grian *flying*. the scene switching between bdubs and grian to show theyre practically giving the same pitch to their non-red friends. mumbo saying the "disgraced and disowned" line to grian, because thats literally what happened to him when he became red. and oh, when etho took off his mask i got chills a little bit. this is incredible.

this is so good! I love the part where Grian has his wings and flies around the stone bridge. Also, i cant help but laugh how agile Mumbo is on the ladder...he would be totally shuffed to bits :D

holy CRAP this is possibly the best piece of fan content I have ever seen for Last Life and there's SO much good stuff out there. Mumbo swinging around the ladder, the top-down view of Grian when it gets quiet, Etho pulling his mask down... I love this so much. I'd like it a million times if I could!

Bdubs’ voice matches so well to me and I’m dying this fits so well and I love how fluid and expressive the animation is. The parallel between these two duos is great and I can tell how much work you put in. This is just amazing!

I could watch this a million times over and still find new things to be in awe about. The expressions on their faces. The fluidity. The shifts between Ethubs and Grumbo. It's all amazing

The rollercoaster of emotions this gave me- hyped, stressed, sad, more hype, scared, REALLY scared, sad This was so smooth and the transitions were FANOMINAL!! You gave so much life to these 2 scenes!!!

Hear me out: Grian has wings in this animatic. Therefore, he could've avoided being killed all together (in game, remembering he had the boat) However, I've come up with a bit of lore for this 👀👀👀 So basically, when you are closer to a permadeath, more and more of your abilities or hidden talents are allowed to reveal themselves. So while Grian was a yellow life, he didn't have access to his wings, a very easy way to save himself. His wings only being accessible when he is a red life is a way of their world making it far harder to get rid of him. He's able to avoid almost anything, until eventually he gains a life back or is killed. As soon as he's yellow again, his wings will disappear once more. It's also why red lives are so hostile, their bodies aren't equipped to handle as much power as they gain when they get down to their last life. It drives them almost mad, enough to the point where they lose all morals and only wish for more to join them in their power rush. They feel the need to test out their new abilities, to let their powers run free and wild, and the only way they can do that is by causing destruction. I just think that this would be such an interesting concept for lore, or backstory, of this universe. A more encompassing explanation is that this is actually a multiverse. 3rd life was the beginning, where the lives system was established, and they tried to live in peace at first. But then the first yellow name was accidentally created, by Grian himself. Scar, now feeling a bit more powerful, is starting to lose a bit of his morality. He wants to cause chaos, wants to steal things, wants to swindle people out of their own goods. And then, due to a careless mistake, he is down to his final life. He now is able to access all of the hidden abilities that he has, and wants to start killing people. Here's the thing though...he doesn't know how. Grian, who is still a green life, owes Scar his first life, and therefore decides to give in to his devious temptations. He wants to start trouble, and hiding behind the excuse of "oh Scar made me do it" was a great way for him to do as he pleased. Grian then loses a life, and is now able to access more of his abilities. But for some reason, despite not being bound to Scar anymore, he feels some obligation to make sure that Scar stays alive. So they continue to plan, waging war on pretty much everyone else on the server, all except 2. However, their doomsday plan fails, and only results in the death of one of their allies and the turning of Scott and Grian, who are now red names. Scar, Scott, and Grian along with a few others who join later are now raging war against Dogwarts, and eventually, there are 3 people left standing. 2 of them are red, Scar and (I can't remember rn if it was Bdubs or BigB). Grian is the sole yellow name. But Scar is a red name, and he feels a need for chaos still. He then gets (Which B was it pls tell me) and Grian to fight over the no kill pass. Grian loses, and is then killed, leaving him on his last life, but with far more power than before. Thanks to his foresight, he is able to charge back in immediately, armed and ready, and eliminates (Seriously which B was it-). He has been betrayed by the one person he stuck by the entire series, and is ready to kill Scar, but is unable to. Despite the broken trust, he still loves (platonic) him. Still wants to believe in him. But the dead demand blood. They are mere Spectors now, but they are able to still somewhat influence the world around them. They inhabit the heads and minds of red lives, instruct them on what to do, and this leads to Scar and Grian giving in and fighting. Scar, however, feels guilty about the betrayal. He doesn't want to fight the one person who never left his side ever since that fateful day with the creeper. So he doesn't. He allows Grian to win, and is killed. Grian, now overwhelmed with grief, decides to end it all right there. But little did they know, it wasn't over. They are reborn once more, and familiar faces are added to the mix as well. They're all getting to know one another, reacquainting themselves when suddenly, they are hit with an odd sensation. Now some of them have 2 lives, some of them have 6, but they all now know what happens when you hit red. Grian, not wanting to take any chances, immediately steals one of Scar's lives, another new mechanic added into this world. They don't know why they can now steal each other's lives, but they all understand that it is a possibility. The series continues, and more and more red lives are formed. Now, another thing I wanted to add, is that I'm actually going to connect this bit of red life lore to another complicated story, the dsmp. Now, I'm assuming that most people know who technoblade is by now. And if you know anything about his lore in the dsmp, it's that he hears voices. What if Techno, in this entire backstory I've created, is on a red life. It's why he's so careful with the one he has, why he's so confident he'll never die, why he always has totems on him, and why he is so powerful. But the thing I wanted to touch up on were his voices. If we go by the lore I've created, and if in this lore Techno is a red life, then that's the reason he hears these voices. It's the previous last lifers, the ones who have all passed away now, but are still looking for ways to cause chaos and bloodshed. They constantly invade Techno's mind, although he calls them Chat, their true names are Spectors :) Lmao this was way longer than I expected it to be-

@@Tikialia basically more and more powers are unlocked as you lose lives, so that's why in this animatic Grian is able to use his wings to fly. Then I connected it to Technoblade, like he's a red life and that's why he's so careful with his life and why he's so powerful. Also the red lives that die come back as "Spectors" (spectators) or as Techno calls them, "Chat."

this is INCREDIBLE ! i love how dynamic all the scenes were omg X> two months carving out this masterpiece, i can assure !

The premise of this is so simple, but you turned these small scenes from session 4 into something so wonderful. I wish i could analyse this properly and give it justice but I suck at that stuff. The movement is choreographed so well, this should be called an AMV.

I love the grian flying and the mumbo ladder scenes. They're so cool

I absolutely adore this! I love how they interact with their environment, and their movements are very engaging. I also love how you drew parallels between the two duos. It's quite interesting, especially knowing the outcomes; Grian betrays Mumbo while Bdubs dies proving his loyalty to Etho. Also, Etho pulling his mask down had a huge emotional impact that really adds to the whole scene. This is such a wonderful animation; fantastic job!

I've seen that a lot, and I think it's cool when done right (like here), it really was a sad begging of "you can join meee...." but animating it as this huge block break is sometimes incredible, this one in particular is amazing

This gave me CHILLS this is amazing!! The part with mumbo on the ladder! When Etho takes his mask down! Just amazing work, congrats!! (And not to be pedantic but technically this is NOT an animatic - this is full clean animation! I mean it has lip sync and everything! Don't sell yourself short!)

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD OKAY IM GONNA LIST SOME THINGS I REALLY LOVE ABOUT THIS HOLD ON Firstly I really like how you chose to line the different pairs in different colours!!! it's a great contrast that helps us keep track of what's happening secondly every time you switch between the two scenes it is SO CLEAN and SO COOL i love it!! other moments that are just *chefs kiss* are when grian's pickaxe breaks the block, when grian unfolds his wings and flies, when etho's shadow is leaning over bdubs's and also the bit at the end with the switching between two characters aaaaaa i also LOVE how you portray body language and expression in this, a lot of animatics focus heavily on like... the environment and big open shots so it's really cool to see one that focuses so heavily on physical action! edit: also THE CAMERA ANGLES HOW COULD I FORGET

love the art style and all tge little details like Grians eye twitching at the word "crazy" plus Mumbos movement on the ladder looks effortlessly cool but i can imagine how much of a headche it can be to animate this type of things right brilliant animation

I've watched this like 4 times now and I can't get over how smooth the animation is. I love the part where Grain is literally flying around mumbo and the smooth transitions between them AAAA its so good. I think this was 2 months worth spent

i ADORE the detail in your animation?? the transitions between the duos scenes, the way grian flew around the platform and mumbo climbed the ladder with so much flourish like BRO you didnt have to do that but you did and its so impressive. also etho's expressions are so subtle in such a fitting way and the fact u took off his mask when he's naturally letting u avoid lip syncing. i want ur power jfc.

I know, I am not a fan of the movie at all, but this animation has made me love the song.

YES YES YES YES YES YES... _three hours later_ YES YES YES YES YES YES seriously, I freakin LOVED THAT, it was animated so perfectly, the art is incredible, the music choice couldn't have been better (personally I think music choice is an important part of animating but I don't know anything) it is SO GOOD! I could ramble about how good this is for hours! Love the anim, WELL FREAKIN DONE

chris i am losing my mind the transitions and fluidity and emphasis of the movements oh my god dude i cant stop freaking out over the wings scene and mumbo with the ladders aaAAAA this was so dynamic and you captured the characters so well GOD THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY THANK YOU FOR THE INCREDIBLE WORK :D

I never thought I'd think Hugh Jackman's singing voice genuinely reminds me of Bdubs' regular voice, yet here we are. It really does. The lisp and the Old Man Tone.

When Etho spins Bdubs to when Mumbo swings on the ladder is my favourite moment of this, but it's all so incredibly made! 11/10 animation

This animation popped up on my recommendations today before I watched the Greatest Showman. So I watched it again now, and dang, this was good. The first transition was the best, and Mumbo twirling around the ladder fit so well. Ah, and that pickaxe to the throat scene was awesome as well. Honestly, all of this is awesome, you do so well.

AHHH THIS IS SO COOL!! i love the dynamicism of this they feel so ALIVE and i love bdubs vs grian's designs and movement: bdubs looks unhinged and grian's design seems so normal but the way he's acting really shows how much he's lost it AHH IT'S SO COOL like bdubs seems to be trying to convince etho but you get the sense that there's only so long grian is willing to talk before he starts taking action

“If I were mixed up with you, I’d be the talk of the town Disgraced and disowned, another one of the clowns” this fits so well for the red lives, joel was the first red life and was ridiculed by most of the server for the whole series

I have come back to watch this at least 10 times in the last week, that first animation switch from bdubs to grian with the pickaxe spin is perfection!
