Last jumps with 6cm tolerance suits - PLANICA 2012

FIS director, Walter Hoffer announced for 12/13 changes of rules about suits and their width and capacity. By decreasing their tolerance to 2cm, ski jumping has become more susceptible for wind conditions, also less areodynamics means that more speed is needed for jump the same distance. It makes ski jumping more dangerous and aggravating.
FIS recognized that seeing too much falls and injuries in ladies ski jumping. They give back old rules (6cm), nevertheless since summer 2012 producers making more elastic suits, wnich are also very sesitive for wind conditions.
