Toxic Salvo works for single target? I heard one of the issues with Acid Flask was how it doesn't shotgun, unless that was one of the changes in the patch

You're right! I checked some footage in slow mo and it looks like barrage also doesn't work as a single target boost. UPSIDE is now I feel great about dropping it for the trapper setup! I can't say I noticed the lack of single target but ill adjust the planner links. Pinned for visibility.

I fancied playing a falconer , still trying out other builds , loving them all so far . Hate to be that guy "But Ziggy , Vial of Volatile Ice " Was the first unique that dropped , glad I stored it away :P

I got the unique catalyst that converts it into ice and frost bite then like 5 minutes later got riverbend grasp that massively ups throwing damage and ice damage lol. Basically made the same build but an ice version! Tons of fun :)

Vial of Volatile Ice was literally my first unique I got at level 6.

I got mine at lvl 1 from the first white Phoenix mob, decided right away to make a build around it. It's still decent in early Monoliths

Thanks for the tip with the traps... I use the flasks with cinderstrike and go the total fire way... it is nice cinderstrike also throws daggers and flasks and you drop you bottles everywhere...

PATCH UPDATE TODAY: Ward gain on advent on the Erased was given a 1 second cooldown - so forget about that item combo showcased in this vid LUL it gives an average of 50-100 ward now instead of 500 to several thousand.

Been playing a Dive Bomb Falconer and I was really surprised at just how strong the Falcon is, even "out of the box" with minimal points allocated.

Just laughted so hard because i started a new character after watching the video and found the vial of volatile ice in the second area.

hell yeah fun - I've gone down the explosive trap/bow route for my falconer but this looks fun -throw those flasks

Funny how you talk about Toxic Salvo shotgunning while showing the Node on the skill clearly saying "enemies can only be hit by one flask per throw" :D

Yeah I'm a dolt and missed that. I made a correction to the build planner link for better leveling. Funny how damage was so good I didn't even notice 😅

I was wondering the same about making acid flask traps, it didn't seem like there was much of an upside or anything really. I just assumed I needed them to be traps for the trap sprinkler but I guess not.

Oh this looks really fun. I've gone with a bow-based falconer, scaling explosive trap off bow damage, and it kinda plays like toxic rain.

My brain is all over the place with trying to figure out my Rogue: only level 14 currently, so no Falconer yet, but originally was thinking "I'll be Quinn from League of Legends! The bird is so cool, let's use it!"...of course, that doesn't tell me much when there is such a good variety of builds that utilize the falcon lol. I've been setting myself up to use Acid Flask like you, but my fantasy still has me attached to the bow. So I added some bleed with Puncture shots, and I'm worried it's becoming a mess of DoTs and damage types >_ To add to all of this, I spent my only Rune of Ascendance to try and get a usable unique bow while my bow was still trash, and I was given Dragonsong. Minimum level 36, plus it's all Fire related...so that's another wrinkle to the mix!

Hi Ziggy, I've started with your pre-launch recommendation, Dr3adful's Lightning Blast mage and it's a great build! Besides the bit rough online start I'm having a great time in LE

The craziest thing happened to me today at level 25. I went afk for 10 minutes and came back to see my Paladin was getting hit the entire time. I am currently 0 HP and cannot die. I was able to power level 25 > 40 in 30 minutes with my immortality lol.

Getting 400% Armour Shred on Acid Flask is amazing coupled with stacking 5 bleed stacks and 100% increased damage on 3rd throw with reduced cooldown on Falcon strike's for clean up while proccing Falcon screech for Frailty :P

I been using net trap with puncture on trap activation, does loads of damage and is less mana intensive, been using aerial assault with 50% life on use and aerial prowess for a damge increase. Have almost 90% glancing blow chance at lvl 70 and 100% crit avoidance from woven flesh making it so I do high damage and pretty good survivability.

The first unique I got on my Sentinal is the Volatile Ice flask XD

Try out replacing piercing with cinder strike it has pretty nice buff 120% damage for flasks, and can also serve as aoe damage that give some mana I highly recommend tinkering with fire version :)

Hey ziggy good guide, btw have you looked at the interactions with the net skill? I did use shurikens at some stage but ended up dropping them because while the armour is good it got annoying having to reapply the shurikans especially if they hit an enemy they disappear. I offer a suggestion of using Net and pathing to smoke bomb and other defensive things as well as getting poison. you will get haste, shadows that shoot acid flasks, as well as smoke bomb on auto as well as A great CC on normal and magic mobs as well as a slow on rares and bosses although less effective.

It's crazy to see acid flask, when for the longest time it was arguably the worst skill in the game

i went falconer explosive flask too but did go to the caltrop path, with aerial strike and net, and when on a boss i combos everything, it claps

Advent of the Erased and Wing Guard Combo doesnt work anymore by the way. They added a 1 Second Cooldown to the Ward Gain of the Boots :(

I did something similar while leveling and it's literally 5 times worse than umbral blades + aerial assault. When I switched, it was like a revelation...

What's the benefit of using Vial of Volatile Ice? I have one, but all I see is that it really only changes the ability to ice and gives some +ice dmg (mine has +18%). I'm assuming as I have 2x Tongue of Aberrant Seal for combined +73% poison dmg I should stick to poison.

If you go to explosive flask does the bird drop explosive flasks?

5:43 Do you have to directly cast the Acid Flask skill? Or is the 'Instrument of the Alchemist' node from Explosive Traps can proc the addition of flasks for the falcon? While doing a regular run, isn't it better to just throw Explosive Traps instead of Acid Flask? Sorry I'm not able to test this yet myself as I'm too low level.. Hoping you could provide info.

If you're throwing acid flask take the charge replenish node and drop if you start exclusively throwing explosive traps.

i was thinking about going with ballista too and explosive trap as a mana generator what do u think, btw the point is transforming point flask in a trap in that way when the falconer drops then they will become balistas with the node

awesome build but why wouldn’t you show the shuriken skill tree or the passives you chose? both super important for build

First unique I got yesterday, Vial of Volatile Ice. Second was some meh gauntlets. Third was Vipertail. On an Acolyte.... Maybe the game is telling me something.

are daggers the best mainhand for any particular reason or could you just as well use any other onehanded weapon?

Some gear mods and passives give poison while holding a dagger. If you use a sword or something instead you'll have to not use those.

I got a volatile ice the other day with 1 legendary potential, but I have no idea what it means lol

What about going full fire, with nodes on the right side of Acid Flask tree?

When you switch to Explosive Trap does it still make sense to skill Parrotkin? Do you still throw flasks manually?

If you do throw keep the nodes otherwise drop them I still use it a bit off cooldown when I'm low on mana but it can be safely dropped if using explosive

Diablo 4 looks better but this game is way more fun and you can actually make different builds. D4 every season it was the same thing. This game on my Razer blade 16 4090 on ultra has the temps at 90-100deg the whole time even while undervolted and thats with a the best laptop cooling lap thing. The story for this game is weird but the gameplay is amazing and FUN. I played this 2yrs ago and the time portal things were confusing but playing it yesterday things make sense

Hi Ziggy, I've been a fan of your content for many many years, so I say this with good intentions and a little bit of disappointment: The use of AI generated art for the thumbnail is disappointing to see, though I do understand that maybe it wasn't intentional or you had some other reason to employ it. If you really want to improve your thumbnails then I'd much rather see a thumbnail artist to be hired, than to see unethical AI images. If I am mistaken and that's not the case then I would apologize.

This was something a viewer generated that was cute and a good fit for the video, so I used it. I don't currently have any strong opinions on AI art myself (except that a lot of it looks quite similar and derivative). But I'm not planning on generating any myself and using it so it won't be a regular occurrence and I'll take your thoughts into consideration. I definitely cannot afford an artist for thumbnails though, even a cheaper one would cost more or less what I make from videos so it'd be a loss most of the time. I'll keep just making my own with screenshots or game art
