Last deer hunt of the season, great results!

Group of male fallow deer seen beside the lands I have permission to hunt, managed to get into the farmer and permission to hunt on his lands was granted.
Managed to shoot 3 nice bucks from which, one is really nice mature buck and two youngsters from a group of at least 12 bucks seen, great to take out the group.
Hunt happened during the extended hunting season and it was the last one for the year.

What would make you shoot the large buck ?Why would you not leave it? Just a question as part of a deer management program? I would have left it personally.

I would agree totally with you but unfortunately that particular area there are loads of hunters and I do not think deer management is applicable and the deer are very problematic. I wouldn't be that worried that I took a nice buck out of the group, seen 42 others only males few fields away. I do select the deer on properties I know I am the only one shooting. Hope that answers 🙏
