LAST DAYS OF SUMMER BREAK // getting some shopping done & thinking about going back to school

I enjoy having a summer vacation as a teacher, but summer vacations must inevitably come to an end. Spend some time with me as I get some back-to-school shopping done and reflect on going back to school for the 2023-2024 school year!
//
I've loved using the music from @TheHoogaShop (thehoogashop.c...) that I purchased a few years ago. The shop's resources are aesthetic and encouraging--I highly recommend checking them out!

    The summer always goes by so fast!! Praying your classroom management implementation is well accepted and works for you! 😁 We are already in our THIRD week of school and I’m starting to pickup routines!

    I have to agree with Michael 12-17 minute videos are a lot better than videos that are over 20. If you want to get better at making videos i would suggest cutting as much unnecessary stuff at as possible. Like how much you talk about a topic and stuff. Also try switch camera angles every 7 seconds. It will bring nore attention to your video and your audience will stay and watch longer. Also the first 5 seconds of your video are most important. Keep it short, sweet, and try to capture your audience by saying what your going to do. Like I said keep it SIMPLE!!! Then you'll start to see some improvement.

    Tip: the videos are too long. It's 2023, nobody has a 25 minute time span anymore.

    @@michaeltouchard2012every good KZread channel has a target audience -- aka the people you are trying to reach with your content. This channel is designed to be enjoyed by people who are interested in lifestyle vlogs, teaching information, classroom management, and more. You'll be hard pressed to find a channel like this where videos aren't long-form. I'm guessing you're probably not here for the content of teacher/classroom related materials, but out of support of Jenn (which we appreciate). People who are here for this material might enjoy a long form video they can listen to. I personally enjoy long form KZread because I can have it on in the background while I do any activity. As the technical manager of this content, I appreciate your feedback, but perhaps next time you could offer more than just criticism.

    @@theasianjennpersonally I'm cool with videos that are 20-30 minutes 👍 (this coming from someone who watched Jenny Nicholson's 3 hour+ video on Evermore theme park lol)
