In all my years as a gigging musician I've never played this old Tom Petty song. So here is my first effort with the Whiskey River Band, playing at the H.O.G. Wild Hoedown at Blue Ridge Harley Davidson in Hickory, NC. We played a 33-song two-set show on April 20, 2024. We recorded the show with 4 GoPro cameras. Audio was recorded live in multi-track with an Allen & Heath CQ20 mixer (you can see the small lunch-box sized mixer on the floor in front of the drum kit. That's Matt Sizemore on vocals and acoustic, and Travis Whisnant (standing in on bass after only one practice). I'm playing the Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider S telecaster on this song. My amp is a Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb.
