Last Chance At Loretta’s

In the twelfth installment of our Reed's Road to Loretta's mini-series, Team Two Two headed back to the gate at Chillitown MX- giving his all, Tate pushed through the long motos in the grueling heat over the span of the entire day, only to fall short several times and ultimately sealing off his chance of punching a ticket for the Ranch this year... Sometimes this sport can be taxing on both the body AND mind. What matters most is how you rebound from those mishaps and how you learn to improve for the next day ahead of you.
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time Supercross and Motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA Supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full-circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and start again. We bring you on the journey as our kids learn with Chad and Ellie. Taking a fresh approach to coaching and learning with a major focus on fundamentals and solid foundations. Our hope is the viewers can also learn and be inspired as the kids strive for their own success in this great sport. We hope you enjoy the ride!

I'm certainly more than impressed. Even as a viewer, it's tough not to have high expectations.. immense pressure, and he's racing kids that have been at it for much longer. The gigantic leap he's made over even just the last 12 months is incredible to see.. I can only imagine what his next level is going to look like! Chad and Ellie keep it real. We can all see the tremendous effort and heart by the entire team. It's all a win in my book. Really enjoyed watching the entire series!

Why did you not work on your bike? Here is the difference between a racer who works on their own bike and one that does not. The one that does, can figure out a way to make money with the skills and knowledge they earned, after the racing is over. There is a lot more opportunity in Motocross,--than racing. No pro retires with a 4 year engineering degree (can get part time while racing), and most retire with the marketable skills of a HS drop out. You never push them beyond their abilities but along with giving them loads of support and love, you keep them pushing their comfort zones. I wish my parents had the drive and ambition to back me when I was racing but, they hated racing calling it a waste of time instead of more and more schooling. I did make the pro ranks, but I was never able to reach my potential because everyone fought me to quit instead of moving forward. Chad was / is very lucky to have you and you him. I never experienced that. The love and desires to back your children are incredible. I look forward to each and every video. My wife and I have followed your family's journey with our fail. Also I have followed your Dad and Moms journey over many years also. I know you are heartbroken about the ticket. However I would like to say that your progress as well as your sisters has been amazing this last year. You are and excellent rider and we see you putting in the tough work. I have no doubt that you will always be great. Don't let this get to you to much. And how cool is it to see that your sister loves you so much that she looks sadder than you. Yes we think your sisters progress has been sick this year also. Hopefully Pacer gets back to at least being on fil more to share his super funny attitude. Last I would like to say that it took more strength and grit than most any man has for you to get in camera at the end at such a hard time. I'm looking forward to the future of your family.💪💪💪👍👍👍🏁🏁🏁🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Tate is such an awesome person his ability to face the pressure of being the son of one of the greatest racers in his sport is outstanding. The amount of racing hours that 99% of his competitors have is probably 10 fold, and he WON a moto most of the kids have never done that a Loretta Lynn’s Qualifiers we are so proud of him as I’m sure you are. Gods timing is never wrong it may feel like it but we can’t see the future and he says he will never leave you or forsake you he’s carrying Tate on his shoulders but I’m sure it feels like he’s failed and wishes he could gotten a ticket. He’s a tough young man and facing the camera at the end shows it all ❤🙏💪

I remember last year getting so upset at my self that I rode bad at mammoth and my parents were telling me, “just train for next year” and it felt so far away. Now mammoth is here and I’m leaving in a few days to race 😂 it seems like a long time at the start but once the finish is near you realize that it was shorter than you thought it would be

Thanks for sharing your racing family. I have six boys and for me it has always been the journey with them. Winning is just a bonus. No progress without struggle. Progress is right around the corner.

A ton of love and passion in this family. That is way more important than a ticket to Loretta's. Way to grind Tate. Once you find your stride, the sky is the limit.

Win or Learn, never lose. And I think Tate is doing just that. His comments at the end came with genuine maturity and wisdom that typically only comes from enduring hardship. He’s going to be such a great pit coach for Kiah at Loretta’s. ❤

Chad and fam we as parents feel these pains with you. Your family unit is the win in all of this. How blessed we are to have each other. These moments are so challenging and difficult and it takes the love of your family to make it in life.

Love the way Chad is so hands on as a Mechanic ...not paying someone to do all the graft . I've been involved in motorsport for 40 years and it's one of those things where you can take 3 steps forward and in a split second take 25 back...Next one will be better guys then this one will be long gone.

Damn I have tears in my eyes. That boy has it in him to win it all. He just doesn't have the time under his belt yet as far as going for it 100 percent. He made huge gains in one year. Next year will be a different story and I have zero doubt about it.
