Trusculpt works good. If you get liposuction, you will gain it back in other places within a year, unless you work out hard and reduce your calories in half. I had it done in 2013; my belly and flanks. Over the years i got bigger boobs, butt and thighs, but all proportioned nicely and exercise helps to keep it under control.

The same happened to me. I had it done 3 times for double chin. After the 2nd treatment one side was visibly smaller than the other, So they recommenced a third treatment. 3 months later there was no significant change. This was all done by a highly recommend Dermatology office in Nyc.. I wasted so much money.

You're physically removing the fat I think that's 100% effective.

As I have quite a bit of fat, I was thinking of doing Xerona first to shrink the fat cells, followed by Eon to kill more fat cells as the laser would penetrate more shrunken fat cells as opposed to fat cells that are plump with fat. Does this make sense? Don't want to do lipo. Is there a better cost effective way than what I suggested to get rid of as many fat cells as possible?

Dr, I did a cool sculpting 2 sessions on my abs...I got bigger and harder abs which seems to 5 months pregnant...did I suffer from paradoxical hyper plasia...my dermatologist are very money minded....they didn't diagonse and counsel me...i did a 2 sessions of Cryolipolysis on my flank (front) and 1 session on my flank(back)....no changes...neither bigger nor smaller...help me with this...my fat is so soft....very soft and supple skin...am a pure vegan and so I have a low muscle strength

Thank you for this, i am keen to know more about long term solutions, cost benefit, skin type to consider to address fat and tightening of chin, i also carry extra water periodically, which has created some loose skin under chin a little jowls due to age. There are a lot of complaints of bumps and irregularities w power assisted and ultrasound lipo and skin damage w laser lipo though online from people who get them done. Also, what percentage of fat is removed via cool sculpting compared surgical lipo? I believe less w cool sculpting.

Honest and appreciated. I have had cool sculpting as a runner needing help. I had three sessions. Hurts like a mother which most people wont tell you and I got zero results. May have well paid for lipo.

Is there non surgical procedure that is good for heavier people? All of them say it is good if you are only 25 lbs over your goal weight. In my opinion if it gives some weight loss with out surgery it might be worth it.

Coolsculpting seems expensive relative to the amount of fat loss you get. Plus, I've read that the recovery process can be very painful. Doesn't seem like a great option unless you only need a tiny amount of fat removed and the cost of treatment will be significantly less than traditional surgical lipo.

What do you think of sculptsure?

i would never do coolsculpting !! the number of cases with paradoxical adipose hyperplasia are highly unreported!

Hello, this is the best review thus far. I'm scheduled to do laser lipo from this place called Sonobello here in San Antonio in January... but a lot of the reviews are saying they didn't see any changes after 8 months or so... I'm just trying to get my upper and lower abdomen done, but unsure about what to do. I had 2 c-sections and my tummy hasn't been the same even after dramatic weight loss... I'm thinking maybe I have torn abdomen muscles... You seem pretty confident in the cold sculpting. And I'm only 165 & 5'4... I have about 4-5 inches of belly fat... what would be the best option please? Thank you...

+LiveTronics it may help a little but probably not the best option. at our office we offer the HCG diet which is a physcian guided weight loss program (you loose 1-2 pounds per day). it is a better option. i would not recommend the homeopathic hcg that people do on their own. it is not fda approved, and dangerous. You need to review the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system. Fat which enters the lymphatic system will re-enter the blood circulation through the thoracic duct ... then it will be either stored or metabolized ... just as dietary ingested fat. It doesn't leave the body through the stool or urine.

it is obviously hard to say without seeing you. from your history and diastasis presence, an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), is probably the gold standard, anything else would be a compromise in results.

What sort of patient is ideal for cool sculpting? For example, if some had 6" to lose off of their waist, what would they see from cool sculpting?

If the fat is soft you can expect to lose 25-30% of whatever the machine can grab on to.

CAMEO Surgery Coolsculpting - doesn't that create pockets of fat loss? It's not smooth and uniform and it can create strange formations under the skin. How can this be effective? Freezing only certain parts can't be good.

Great question Jaden. The applicator is placed over the most centralized area of fat. The skin is pulled into the suction device. The skin/fat that gets in deepest will get the coolest portion. As the skin in the suction cup moves further from the central portion it doesn't get quite as cool. So it creates a very smooth feathered out transition. Maybe I will make another video to show a demo....it is hard to verbalize. That being said, I have seen terrible results if the applicator is placed incorrectly. There is another office nearby that ruined a young girls inner thighs because they placed it the applicator incorrectly and she had a rippled effect. When done correctly, there are no strange formations under the skin. Thanks for the question!

Nonsurgical options leave no scars but lipo has very small non offensive scars.

Hello Dr B, which of these procedures have the best effect on fat when you are menopausal? I believe the results are similar to cool scullpting. Although the results of these devices are good in some patients, they are not as impressive as a surgical result.

What's your opinion on "Yolo Curve Lipo Laser?"

It seems to be similar to Zerona, which creates a situation which releases the fat into the lymphatics. It may yield ok results in the right person but certainly not a miracle device. I do not own this machine and no personal experience with it. My opinion is purely on its scientific literature published.

Which non invasive do you recommend ? I only have about 3 inches I want to lose on my abdominal area.

+Ronni Merritt It really depends on how you look. The best non surgical machine for fat is hands down coolsculpting. No other technology has as much research behind it, with millions of treatments performed around the world. Not everyone is a candidate and going to a reputable place is important.

Automotive TV I am a surgeon and love performing surgery. I think the results from surgery are usually superior to any non surgical procedure. The non surgical procedures I have invested in however are pretty solid. Usually non surgical is what people want. Although sometimes, minimally invasive can = minimal results.

you will always get your best result at a lower bmi. a bmi of 25 or less would be best

+Sara Beth Bryant Morgan totally different. Coolsculpting is nonsurgical and laser lipo is surgery. With lipo one typically get more dramatic and predictable results. The only time CS is better than lipo is if it is a certainly that you will have loose skin following lipo, or someone simply wants to avoid surgery. With CS there is no downtime. With lipo most people need a week off, and 6 weeks before resuming full activities.

I did cool sculpting also and it did NOTHING!!!!! I am active, athletic body with a little annoying belly and the cool sculpting was just a big waste of money!!!

Coolsculpting is the the future, when it comes to class action lawsuits! Haha

might as well pay for lipo . cool sculp only removes 25% the first time 25% second time and 3rd time 50% after paying for 3 treatments you are better off paying for lipo. save your money and your wallet
