Well done! Excellent test set up. I especially like that you were aware of possible water level issues with sun and water temp in the tubing. Also using a little torpedo and leveling your marks around and then a plumb line down to boot! Nice job and very helpful!!

Sorry no, LA 180L will not measure distance.

have you used that bosch laser much? alot of bad reviews citing its inconsistent, hard for the reader to pick up the laser past 60' and frustrating to use.. at 1/3 of the price of comparable units the price is nice but no good if youre always second guessing it or fighting with it.. especially when learning, you dont know if its you thats the problem or the equipment

It was always accurate for me. Farthest I used it was 90’ from laser. I was leveling 180’ worth of storage complex doors. 90’ both ways, from laser in the center of the total run.

I have the Bosch and can absolutely confirm the difficulty picking up the laser at any distance above about 50ft. PITA.
