Why not just print a PCB template? Seems overkill.

looks like your focal length is to low. you might get a finer cut if you do the manual focus method.

Yeah sometimes the auto method is hit or miss. I havent found the perfect focal distance to set in the manual focus

@@GarageFactorySD I never use the auto focus. I tested manually by engraving lines on cardboard at a range of z-heights to find the best (narrowest) beam. I then did additional manual testing using a finer range of z-height +/- the best line from step 1. The z-height that produces the best line is the optimum z-height for your machine. Next, zero the z-axis and then lower the z-axis until the tip of the beam shield just touches the work surface. The dimension shown is the negative of the height you set before working on a piece. My SN A350 works best at 5.8mm above the work surface.

I 3d print stencils and that's much easier, just print 1 layer and do some cleanup, that's all

oh I might try that out. I'd imagine tho it would take some time to set up the 3d model for the stencil?

@@GarageFactorySD You can import to fusion 360 as an svg (I use Inkscape for svg conversion)
