Look i hate the Chargers as any raider fan should. But im not above giving the props. As a charger fan it must feel good seeing Herbert instead of old man rivers. We got outplayed and our QB decided to stay home for the game.

Our O-line needs serious work; Carr needs more time to let a play develop, time for receivers to run their routes and time to set and throw. Chargers just worked and worked and worked, and after Mack got the drive ending sack I wasn't even "mad". I just said to myself damn man good play. Can't even hate on it. Hard work right there boss. Not panicking though. So many new parts we need time to gel. Go Raiders.

Hoping for a quick recovery for Keenan Allen. The Chargers offense was just not the same without him.

You 100% correct brother I believe he had like 6/7 sacks last year in 6/7 games with Robert Quinn getting a lot of attention so the Chargers should be able to see Mack balling with that Defense they have. Play calling was a HUGE issue. They only ran the ball 13 times averaging 5.7 ypc which is peak retardation. Andy Reid simply doesn't make these types of mistakes and if we don't smarten up the Chiefs will maintain a strangle hold on the division

I’m from his home town Eugene and growing up there I’ve noticed the u of o creates some pretty talented athletes, he rocks for sure, makin our ducks proud!

The Raiders-from Carr to the OL to the defense-played so sloppy the whole game. Chargers let us back in the second half by abandoning throwing the ball, for whatever reason, and trying to run. Glad the Raiders tightened towards the end and gave themselves a chance to win a game they were outplayed in, but both Carr and the OL sold today. They’ll be fine. Division games are usually messy. Kudos to the Bolts. Onto the next one.

@@JMonneeyy it was to run the clock out unless you ACTUALLY PLAY FOOTBALL i woulda ran the ball too especially considering the defense was out for a majority of the game and that players can be exhuasted,number two with 7 minutes left I would run on all 3 downs unless it's an easy short pass to keep the clock running. Your trying to put away a game not give one away by making a throwing mistake or time mistake.

He didn't need any more $ from NE so it made sense to take a smaller contract which meant he could to compete for more rings. Herbert is in an entirely different situation and will deserve his market value. I wouldn't see that as "greedy" anymore than I saw Brady's decision in 2013 as "selfless". They're just business decisions based on their situations

How is Derek Carr still a starting quarterback in the NFL? These franchises continue to lose with the same guy but do absolutely nothing about it. Some of those throws and fumbles were absolutely preposterous and he's been doing it for SIX years.

Ever since his first game, Justin Herbert might be one of the best quarterbacks I've ever seen right out of the box. That guy just played like a pro from his first game to now. It's truly going to be a great to see this guy duke it out for years to come.

@@zamirgopackgo6817 facts they out field defense suck Carr overthrew alot of player which turn into int if Carr have a good game we scoring 40 on y'all and that a fact overthrown waller for wide open td on first drive overthrew waller for a 30 plus yards catch amd if he break the tackle and run fast enought probably and 50 plus yards td the oline didn't give him enough time to air it out when davante was wide open and it turn to a int and the pass to renfrow was to long he should have threw it in front but he threw to the middle of him that an easy catch and raiders ran 4 time in a row and gave the ball back to Herbert easly and he got tackle by the goaline and the refs called a flag for no reason which would have only Ben 3 points or they go for it and don't get it

Derrick Carr self imploded in this game forcing passes and holding on to the ball to long against what will be one of the top three edge rushing duos in the nfl this year. I'm not a huge fan of a qb scrambling but maybe next they play the chargers he might wanna get out of the pocket a lil more or get rid of the ball quicker. They'll be fine to both teams look really good. That's division is stacked this year...

Whoever puts burrow in the same breath as Herbert is smoking

As a charger fan we have the hardest division by far..every game is going to b a great one...so happy foofball is back..nothing like the sunday bbq watching games eating some good food,having a cold one with your people##boltup

The Raiders secondary got torch that 1st and 2nd quarter and Derek Carr made bad throw and had terrible awareness on that 3rd down 4th he had no one to throw to but he did have. Chance to run for the first down, great win for the Chargers

This game should not have been so close. But of course, Joe Lombardi is a brickhead who thinks that a 14 point lead with seven minutes left in the third is late enough to get conservative and run the clock. Dude would be jobless without Herbert's talent covering for him.

Jamal was a beast..so underrated

Darn it raiders we were so close. Offense was really clutch last year but in this game couldn’t get it done. The o-line was the reason our offense was lackluster. Carr only looked at Adams most of the game and sure he was good but renfrow and Waller were left out as Adams was double teamed. Our defense played an ok game but enough to keep us in the game

Khalil Mack really shown and made a great debut for the Chargers D. Well done. Can’t wait to have JC Jackson back and see what he does but defense already looking a lot better than last year.
