Las Vegas Monster trailer by Everett Dudgeon

Фильм және анимация

Another exercise in editing. This time I was inspired by an unmade Willis O'Brien film The Las Vegas Monster. I think my music really fits the images. Footage from a test reel of Las Vegas Monster and Tarantula and Revenge Of The Creature.
Music is played on the Roland FA-08 and Moog Sub 37

The last 5~ odd years of entertainment media might as well have been released directly into a *sewer* for all anyone will care. Shovelware, and nothing but.

That clip could be the work of Peter Petersen. He was the chief animator for Willis O'Brien for The Black Scorpion (1957). Famed animator Jim Danforth discovered some old independent reels Pete shot before he passed on and they were superb examples of stop motion photography. He never reached the opportunity and fame of Harryhausen and Danforth but his skills were close to their best.

I think his animation on The Black Scorpion is some of the finest of all time!

I love movies from that era. I wish that they could have finished the project.
