Obviously saw this video when it came out, super helpful. I think they can hold back to recover fast from SEN3+4 ender. Not sure how you'd show that in practice mode, but that's why the SEN3 ender is "real" choice 😅

As someone who started like 3 days ago, this is actually really helpful

Ahh ive been doing sen3+4 ender into den 3 a lot and experienced that its not very consistent like you said. Thanks for tips, will try doing sen 3 into den 2 more!

Yeah, it's weird that, despite the supposed frame advantage, opponents can just stand up and mash to beat your setups. But luckily, SEN 3 still works as intended. Thanks for watching!

My fav move i just learned when you accidentally go past your opponent with the slide thing you can.slid back and do a boom kick I love it

The only gripe I have with this video, and it’s so minor, is the lack of the inputs since I’m brand new to Lars but it’s not hard finding the moves. I can’t wait to try these tips out great guide

While on the subject on Den 2 - How do you time your den 2 after df3d in combos so it doesnt drop? I think Ill have the timing down or the correct mental cue but it tends to drop so much. Thanks for the vids they help a lot

I time it with Lars' spin and the sound he makes when it does it. So don't mash 2, wait for the spin and confirm it with 2. Like a rhythm. I hope that helps.

Okay I’m starting to see why sen3 is good as a combo ender. I play Lars as well and usually I do sen 1+2 for combo ender into den2. So essentially we are getting the same result. I think your way is a lil easier I can’t lie because my way is a lil tight to pull off sometimes.

SEN1+2 doesn't have as much frame advantage on knockdown, and opponents can tech roll out of the DEN2 setup much more easily. So SEN3 is the best oki option. Thanks for watching! 😁

Questions: 1. Can SEN3+4 combo ender be backrolled like SENdf1 could be in Tekken 7? 2. When you end combo with DEN2 without flip transition, can you still force SEN mixup with f3DENf?

SEN3+4 ender can be back-rolled or other options, so as I mentioned in the video it doesn't seem to give the better oki. I'm not quite sure how it compares to T7 SEN DF1 tho. But SENDF1 was waaaaaaay better for oki. DEN2 ender on its own is actually a very good oki ender, one of the best actually. But you're usually giving up damage when you use it.

Maybe this will carry me over the battle ruler line into the blue.

Could the DEN 2 setup still work if the combo finishes with SEN1 + Heat Dash?

Depends on your Heat Dash scenario. Because if it's Heat Dash into a combo that ends in SEN3 or SEN1+2, then yeah it's good. But if it's a Heat Dash combo after a regular launcher, then the oki might not be the same unless you do a very specific combo ender. It's worth labbing either way.

Do you have an option for opponents that roll? I currently dash and db4

DEN2 catches rolls as well, and if they get up fast enough, they'll block the DEN2 and you'll be safe.
