Larry King charged and arrested in 1971 with grand larceny for taking $5,000 from financier Louis Wolfson and using it to pay back taxes rather than giving it to the intended recipient.
True Story ... For years, Larry King was a favorite of mine and then one day he became more. My Angel. In my younger years I watched his interviews faithfully. And every chance he got, he’d talk about the miracles that came out the Cleveland Clinic (including himself). When my friend, Karen Drosnes, was in heart failure for the 3rd time and feeling quite lost because the local docs were giving her a very grim prognosis, I took the liberty to write Larry a letter explaining her situation and I asked if he could pull some strings to get her to Cleveland YESTERDAY (she did not have insurance). And within days he was on it. Not only did he arrange to have Karen seen by the top docs, but he paid for the entire freight! No questions asked - he just stepped in and made it happen. I remember the night before her surgery, he called to personally wish her well. He was a trip! We laughed and we cried all at the same time. I always loved my boyfriend, Larry (joke between me and my friends) but after that, he literally lived in my heart. And he always will. Quaker Oaks actually used one of my quotes on the Oatmeal container a couple months following. I don’t exactly remember how that happened but I do know his son, Larry, Jr. contacted me for permission to do so. I was honored. Larry King was an amazing soul and he single handedly saved my friends life - he literally received my letter and within a few days we were in Cleveland. God speed to his wife and children. Larry always had one foot in heaven and I’d say he’s “all in” right about now. Love you Larry - thanks for the memories! We will never forget your generosity! RIP sweet man 🙏🏼
I often went to sleep listening to Larry King's radio show on Mutual. In my opinion that was Larry at his best. I called in a few times and was amazed that I was able to get through each time. No censoring. They just put you on the air: "Bethesda, Maryland, Hello" and off you go. It was amazing how he could do a 5 hour show unscripted night after night and keep it entertaining. One of a kind.
I used to think Larry King was immortal, really. RIP Mr. King. You'll be missed.
Such a delightful man. As a Brit I didn't know him, but discovered Larry recently when he interviewed John Mulaney. It was brilliant.
It is no way on earth I would have survived the middle 80s 90s and 2000s without Larry king live! Between Larry King Live and Oprah Winfrey Show there will never ever be any talk shows to compete between those two! RIP Larry King! God bless you Oprah Winfrey!!😘

John McLaughlin was no joke too. RIP to both of them
I am from Germany and i loved this Men. His respect for his Guests. No stupid Questions and always listening and getting the right Answers from them. One of a kind. My Favorite - as a Star Trek-Fan - was of course some with Wiliam Shatner and the Special where TNG/Ds9-Crew was with him and Rick Berman. RIP Larry King!!
He listened to people: a rare skill.
2021 is three weeks in but already going ablaze, RIP to the king
Even from Autralia respected and knew of him . RIP LARRY
The amount of high-profile guests he got on his show...and them agreeing to be interviewed, knowing that Larry will interview them and is very trustworthy...truly the King of Talk. May his memory be blessed.
Thank you for giving voice to the world and made America listened because you chose to listen more. RIP Peacemaker!
RIP MR LARRY KING 👑 Thank you for your contribution 🙏🏾
Larry's interview with King Hussein, Rabin and Arafat was unforgettable. It's still my favorite. God he'll be missed 💔

💨💨 King loved those dammmmn suspenders. Decades later he still wore them he owned that look. 😇 Larry you will definitely be missed Sir ♣️
No, not Larry! I loved his interviews! He asked brilliant questions - simple but to the point. He asked important questions. He was incredibly empathetic and always tried to be honest and present the problem from every point of view. I loved listening to his voice - he had such a warm, soothing voice, it might sound strange to some, but I had a lot of his interviews on mp3 and listened to Larry to sleep! I really wanted to see many more interviews, with many famous personalities, done by him ... Now there is no chance for that. Rest in peace, maestro! Your number 1 fan from Poland! 💗
Damn. That shocks me. He was super cool to listen to, very intelligent. Definitely gonna miss him.
RIP. One of the best. Larry had endless energy and genuinely loved his work. People like him deserve at least another 87 years to get everything done. Great journalist, great interviewer. He will be missed.
Love from Edinburgh Scotland. We in Europe loved him as a truthsayer..he was a bigger than any talk show host in America..he was global....he will be sadly missed by as the man who gave it you straight..

Legendary strong man. Rest in peace!🌻
Larry King was in a special class of journalists that history will remember fondly. A true legend.
The legend will stay in our heart for ever
He was wise, sharp and warm man.
Larry King was the last vestige of unbiased interviewing. RIP
He was truly the BEST interviewer. His interviews were not bias. He was very fair. He asked good questions, not on a gossipy tabloid level. He himself was interesting. He'll be missed.
This damn virus man. I know he had a lot of health issues and was older and I'm sure he lived a full and great life but I can't help feel he would have had a few more years. He was a fighter.
