Larry Fleet brings us back to true Country, and does so with a voice as clear and deep as Gitchee Gumee aka Lake Superior. Yeah, we are Country up north too.

Yes he's great and believable. Btw my favorite place in the whole world is Lake Superior. There's just something about it for me. I've been all over Michigan (Wisconsin and Minnesota)and around the Great Lakes but Superior is it for me. We did the circle tour of Superior 12yrs ago. Stuck in Illinois my whole life but thinking about moving up north in retirement.

As a combat veteran who is plagued with mental health issues due to all the evil things I did in the name of goodness and the life most just piss away. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get over the true loss of life and love again but I appreciate you for telling me about a life worth living because so many of my friends are no longer. That’s both here on this rock flying in nothingness and spinning out of control I could be forgiven for all I have done is a life worth saving for the day I can start living once again. To all my brothers who have gone before me. Please leave the lights on I truly miss you and love is not a word I say because it means nothing compared to giving up your life for those who may never know you.

Thank you for your service. Currently serving in the Navy I have not been to combat but I thank you for standing on the front lines. I am a Christian and I can say for certain God can save you and forgive you for all your sins. Open your heart to Jesus and receive Him as Lord and savior. He will never reject one that comes to Him in sincerity. He can heal you and save you from Hell in the life to come and the Hell we experience in this world. He did it for me He will do it for you. God bless you and again thank you for your service to this country. Your service will not go in vain neither will the brothers and sisters you served with. 🫡❤️

I was fortunate enough to listen to him live at least once a week for years playing in bowling alleys and dive bars for years before he got big. This man can sing ANYTHING and make it sound just like it came out of the wings of Jesus but make you feel ok with being a sinner. Larry Fleet will always be my favorite.

I love your voice and let ve all your songs. Larry I was brought up with bluegrass and gospel also , use to attend bluegrass festivals always loved it, and I always loved gospel music. That was my life used to sit around on the front porch saying family members made records, but nothing ever went big with them but we always made sure that we sang gospel and bluegrass. Love your voice Larry awesome songs you’re saying and you’re one of my favorite singers. Love you Larry I’ll see you April 1.

Well, those that know me well Know I'm known for raising hell I got scars and I got stories Can't believe I lived to tell No, it ain't hard to see That ain't the man I wanna be But I try to love everyone God puts in front of me And that's a life worth living The way I wanna spend my days 'Cause the time we're given So quickly slips away When I fly up to the sky And I hear my maker say "Son, you're forgiven" That's a life worth living If there's a tear that I can dry Don't you know I'm gonna try When I see the wild in me In my young boy's eyes I forgivе like I'm forgiven And pick him up when hе falls down Make sure he knows that his old man Will always be around And that's a life worth living The way I wanna spend my days 'Cause the time we're given So quickly slips away When I fly up to the sky And I hear my maker say "Son, you're forgiven" That's a life worth living Mm, that's a life worth living I may not live to be a hundred Never see the Seven Wonders Girl, as long as I got you here by my side That's a life worth living The way I wanna spend my days And it feels like heaven When you look at me that way When I fly up to the sky And I hear my maker say "Son, you're forgiven" That's a life worth living So I'll keep on living This life worth living A life worth living

UKRAINE, DAVID, GOLIATH & NOW ?? David, the shepherd, a tender of sheep Would pray to his God before he would sleep. One day he awoke to the roar of beasts A bear and a lion in search of a feast. David slew both with his knife and his hand Though still just a boy and not yet a man. The Lord's love for David was proven once again When he challenged the champion of the Philistine men. Goliath’s beastly fingers and hideous toes Made David more selective with the stones that he chose. One for the giant, he knew he would slay Four more for his brothers who were laughing that day. The giant told David, "I'll tear you apart The birds and the animals shall feast on your heart." David yelled back, "I’ll soon see you dead And when I’m through I’ll cut off your head!" The worst of all men, drew high with his arm Came forth to David to do him great harm. The youth jumped ahead as quick as a lynx A stone from his sling popped the giant where he thinks. Blood and bone spewed forth as that devil fell down A thousand pound soldier lie dead on the ground. With Goliath’s own sword David chopped off his head Then took it to Jerusalem to prove he was dead. Night and day we’re informed by headlines Which seem to give evil added time. Always at war killing one another In our world full of valiance and crime. God’s heroes of time now and the past Had to be blessed by love along the way. They learned by misjudgment right from wrong Facing storms we still weather today. By Kansas City Poet Tom Zart Google = Most Published Poet Tom’s 1,650 Poems Are Free To Share! POT FARMER DANCE SONG $ I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot You better believe it held a whole lot. I whipped out a lighter thumbed up a flame Sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain. I tried alcohol smoked cigarettes They did nothing but give me regrets. My mom had arthritis could not walk around I rolled her a joint she danced on the ground. I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack After I smoked some to me it came back. Soon I decided prices were high I searched for some ground I wouldn't have to buy. I bargained for seeds from smokers all around Got in my truck and drove out of town. I walked through the woods where wild birds nest Found me the meadow I thought was the best. I dug up the ground sowed all my seeds Said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds. I watered at night with a five-gallon pail Mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil. Seven months went by; I thought I would die Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky. At night I went out, in a camouflage suit Used my corn knife to chop down the loot. I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found. Came back and got it, when it had turned brown. I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags Called all my friends and passed out free drags. In less than a week my crop was gone I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!! By Kansas City Poet Tom Zart Google = Most Published Poet Tom’s 1,650 Poems Are Free To Share!
