Just like you, when I imported my car to Canada I looked for a clean stock or lightly modified example. Other than the colour mine is very similar spec to yours coil overs, cat back , stock airbox & all. Well I do have 17 BBS LM though. 16 years of ownership & I still love her as much & the day I drove it home from the bonded customs warehouse. Definitely my forever car.

Larry’s just oozing with passion for his car. Gotta love it
When The Appraiser turns into Pawn Stars where he had to call "an expert" Such a gorgeous example of a R32.
I can't believe how insane the prices of these cars have become. From 2006-2009 I worked for an importer in Toronto that specialized in skylines. We had a few high grade R32 GTRs over the years and not one of them ever sold for more than $25,000 CAD. The most expensive R32 GTR we had sold for $22-ish thousand dollars. Pricing now is absolutely ridiculous and it pushes a lot of enthusiasts out of the market with these inflated prices. It's a real shame that a lot of people will never be able to obtain something even remotely close to this.

I love Larry for the simple fact that no matter what car it is, he gets it. He understands why the people that like them, like them. I don't think I've ever heard him talk bad about any car because at the end of the day there is a devoted group of people that love them.
love to see it!

Crazy to think my friend bought one of these when they first were allowed for 17k. All these jdm cars are getting priced outta the enthusiasts market. Wild

It's telling that he went the opposite of most people with that statement (most would say "it could be worth 1 million and it wouldn't matter"). He doesn't care what other people think of it, including thinking badly.

What a joy to see someone accomplish what Larry Chen has. I hope he does keep the car forever. I also hope to run into him at a car event down the road. Good video and thank you Hagerty.
Here in Jacksonville Florida. In a parking lot outside a Market. I saw an, "All Carbon Fiber, RHD R34. One of 3 in the world. 1st thing ,I notice was the windshield and back window had stock, gaskets. Must be the glass and or gaskets may be very hard to come by !
Wow, this makes me feel good about mine. I’m convinced me and Larry have the same exact car. Stock, same miles, same color, everything.
Larry has great taste... "Its best version", indeed.
I wouldn’t have ever assumed that any red would suit a 32, but she looks great in that shade, especially on the correct wheels😎👌🏻
Larry is a trend setter before the interest had been made a trend - it's awesome to see, "The Appraiser" get down and dirty on some JDM content!
Awesome video. Larry Chen's love for these cars brings me joy to see.
Larry is a modern day motorsport photography legend
As a '80s '90s kid on the North East Coast. 85,000 in the current crazy car market that we live in for a R32 that's mint as hell. Sounds 20 to 35 grand short. And this one is special too.
Ok this is going to sound crazy, I've had all kinds of cars, Rx7, Rx8, coupe gc8, mx5, mr2 Spyder, Camaro 1le, and the car that still makes me smile is my 2009 ford focus, I've been through so much with this car I don't see myself ever selling it 🤷♂️.
Beautiful and awesome car! I totally understand why Larry will never sell it. I wouldn't either if I owned it.
AH3 looks great under the bright lights. Larry + Hagerty is on a roll!
This is my favorite GTR hands down! The red hits differently and looks amazing on the suspension with stock wheels! Wow 🔥🤩
Larry, I also fell in love with the Skyline. Granturismo was and is still my favorite racing game. I love your car and wht u done and didn't do.✊🏾 Keep it clean my man keep it clean!!
An R32 just sold for $150k at Monterey Car Week 1 day before this video went up.
This and the last video with Built by Legends has got my mind racing. When I have the money I wouldn't mind a Midnight Purple II R32 with the R35 DCT & Carbon brakes.
My friend sold his ONE OF ONE California Barred LEft Seater R32 for 90 K last month, I was there to witness it. I was mindblown as it happened.
Love you guys to put Larry in this, he's a great guy! I would have guessed $86k for his R32.. Nice video guys! :D
Truthfully, to me, that is the best looking R32 I've ever seen. Plus the story just ties it all together. That guy really loves that car and it shows.
I'm proud of larry! Best move he can make.
That has gotta be one of the sexiest motors ever in an engine bay..oh my god
Wow.. The cleanest version of my dream car I have ever seen. Woe wow wow
Priceless. Clean. Awesome car Larry.
beautiful car. i like the spirit behind it and the aura it possesses
just goes to show if you can dream it, then you can do it. Dreams can be real if you want it bad enough. love this series Hagerty! Nailed it! I guess I need to call ya about my 19 ZR1 Corvette! its gone up in value…
Never seen Hagerty until Larry was featured. Goos stuff
This just makes me appreciate and LOVE my S2000 even more ..
What an iconic look, one of my fav cars.
Dream car. Not the fastest thing out there but I love the look, sound and the 90s Japanese sports car feel. Was lucky to be able to drive one a few years back and I'm kicking myself for not grabbing one 10 years ago when I could have afforded one.
Whoa... having ur own HotWheel is "Kinda fun little thing"!!
Cool deal! I want to hear about the Mach 1 in the background. After work I am going to be working on mine in the garage.
CA CARB certification is about $10-15k plus months of testing and paperwork. That certainly helps the value in California
Honestly makes sense for the price. Idk why he assumed it was less. These are $60k imported. I don’t even know if that’s CA legalized. My friend paid $40k and that’s after the military covered half the fees to import it for him. But current car prices are beyond inflated. So it makes total sense for this price. If prices went back down to normal pricing I’d say it’s. $65k car with out inflation.
Glad I got mine before the market went crazy. Definitely plan to keep forever as well
Thank you, Larry.
I feel like Larry's R32 hits that sweet spot between originality and modified enough (tires, suspension) to be a fun weekend driver.
Beautiful car, hang onto it, will keep going up in value 👍
I wonder what an official Australian one would be worth. They were only imported in enough numbers to allow it to race in Touring Cars and nissan used the results to further develop their race cars.
It’s crazy how clean and “brand new” looking Larry’s 32 is even though it’s just his street car! Just imagine how crazier it would’ve been if it was an N1 v spec! Would’ve been gold 🤯
Wheel tire setup is so perfect.
I love this channel thumbs up

Idk why I get a tiny feeling looking at Larry's Gt-R reminding me of the forgotten Nissan Primera p10!! What a beauty!!
In 2008 I was living in Japan, bought my GT-R (not my first Skyline at all though). It was also my "dream car". It was a prime example, excellent condition, factory wheel, even factory radio. Bought it for all of $8000. I have been able to own a drive much faster and 'better' cars, but no car I have ever owned or driven sense has produced the happiness and excitement as did that "dream car" GT-R.
I bought my AE86 (1985 GTS Coupe) in '06 for 1500. Now, I have it insured through HAGERTY, at 35K, which I'm still taken back of how the market went. Same, not for sale, but it's very interesting to own one of 'those imports' something I never imagined, but never intended...My Passion is enjoying them and just Driving them!
Not a Skyline fan. Honestly I watched is video because I saw the 71/72 Mustang Mach 1 in the thumbnail. It was far more interesting than I expected. Nice car!
Amazing photos for HOTWHEELS ! So cool 😎 R32 is my original favorite 😍
I remember looking at car magazines here in the US. In those magazines I would see ads for wheels or car care products. This car was always used in those ads. I would think. Wow what car was that in the Picture? Is it real? I've never seen or heard about this car. All the american magazines never talked about this car. Then I saw this car visiting japn in early 2000s, I was amazed - the car was real. Then I saw this car race against a model 3 performance on youtube. Wow. The car still kicks ass. I'm sure the car that raced the tesla was heavily modified but it sure was a beautiful site to see godzilla move.
Absolutely wild.
Why did the shot @6:27 look like a micro set of your garage & hotwheels car collectibles inside 🤞🏽🔥 very dope shot !
Looks great. love the stock wheels.
I am so glad that my "Gran Tourismo Car" was a 1996 Corvette LT4 lol Picked up a mint one with 8,000 miles for 19k a few years back. I love GTRs as well, but good GOD are they pricy. Beautiful car!
The F40 tho..
I'm so glad that someone this young still keeps the historical GT-R 32 as long as possible. However my dream car is still a McLaren, a Lambo Huracan or Aventador, Porsche 911.
LOVE that color

This company makes it hell to grind for certain cars in Gran Tourismo. The Mc Laren F1's are around 19million (almost 12 hours grinding). Yes, they priced it accordingly but they just spiked several cars in game by several million.
Just a great looking car, mind you I'm biased, I've got an Australian delivery almost bone stock R32 GTR with 134,000kms on the clock, original paint, 2nd owner, Rj in Oz
I love the way in 4:32 there is just a tractor in the back
As many of times I've seen r32 gtr stock wheels, I never realized how good they look until now.

Skyline GTRs are fabulous. I'd love to own one. I'd also keep it mostly stock. I have a soft spot for R33s in particular.
This car itself is unlike any other stock R32 in the world, specifically because it's owned by Larry Chen and because it is now a legendary premium Hot Wheels car. If i were loaded i'd own a R32, i'd easily give $125,000 for this one and that wouldn't be my ceiling either. I think $85 is low for this car, but i'm a big fan of both Larry and Hot Wheels so i may be bias.

I would love to have such a clean and well cared for R32.
Based on driving experience (I own a 33 Gtr) no R chassis Nissan is worth more than a 50k, the joy the car gives in a category of driving emotion, sentimental and coolness factor can hold a different value
