I went to French Lick on my vacation in 2020. 33 Brick Street has a burger that Larry created they named after him. It was great! It really is worth the visit!

Thank you for this reaction! I thought it was fun. The last info I could find was still not definite, but gave a hopeful opening date for the museum for May 2024. In the first videos, the 33 Brick Street Cafe owners mentioned that the memorabilia was “on loan,” so my guess is that much, if not all of it has been moved to Terre Haute. I’d still like to visit both towns, though.

@cygnus62 may not be planned. But he's so in control. He definitely knew where every single award was and is. He claims to not worry about most awards. But I think he cherishes them more than other important thing in his life.

I Think They "Fudged" A Little On "The Magic Johnson" Bedroom. For One Thing The House Along With Those Bedrooms Were Already Built Before Magic Came By, ha ha ha ha.

Larry recognized that winning the MVP was an honor, but he felt it was more important that if he had a MVP year, that meant his _team_ was in the championship game. The actual memorabilia wasn’t important to him, so he allowed a local business to profit from it. Now, he agreed to allow his memorabilia to help Terre Haute businesses. I doubt he thinks about or cares about any sort of shrine to his name. Instead, he supports this endeavor because he wants to pay back the city’s business community for the help and support they gave him during his ISU days. For instance, they were the ones who interviewed agents and chose Bob Woolf.

I'm Sorry But I Kinda Hope That The College Area Doesn't Get It. That Would Take Away From Larry's "Real-Home-Town" French Lick. They Will Be Wanting & Needing All Of Larry's Stuff That They Have There & That Takes Away From His Home Town & 33 Brick Street. It Should All Stay In French Lick; For One Thing Larry Not Only Grew Up There BUT He Chose To Build His Home There And Lived When He Was Off/Home For The Season & He Retired & Lived There Pretty Long Before Moving To Florida.
