Oh yes my brother. Larnelle has anointed vocals. And his lyrics are deep. Only one Larnelle. I miss my time with you, is one of my favorites. He visited my country a few years ago. "Trinidad & Tobago." But I missed it because I was in Philadelphia. I can hear him sing all day. He is flawless. I understand his mom sent him to learn to sing opera that's why he makes those octaves so easily and flawlessly. When it comes to professional singing Larnelle is the man! I'm finding all these pure songs of worship and encouragement from The Lord on a wonderful local christian station here in Houston (105.7)...Before I started walking with Christ, I breathed rock music, name an obscure rock band from the 80's and 90's, I was just hardcore into them...but now music like THIS that focuses on The Lord is what nourishes my spirit. I've been going through things and songs will suddenly start playing that comfort me and I always knows it's The Lord Himself doing it...

This is a soothing song, and even if you haven’t turned “from” the Lord you can find yourself trying to work things out in your own strength, it takes “the strength of the Lord.”

I haven't heard this song in ages either!!! My grandma used to have a tape with this song, and "Rhoda, open the door" etc. I found myself humming this song a few weeks ago, not even realizing where I remembered it from. I typed in "Larnelle Harris" (not even realizing it was him who sung it), and boom, there it was! I couldn't believe I remembered this song from when I was six or seven, and my grandma used to play the tape when we were driving in the car. Priceless memories... ;-)

Thanks for putting the songs of this CD on. I haven't heard it in years and the songs have indeed been a blessing to me. I think that most of the songs made a while back are so much more meaningful than what we have today that try to compete with the worlds standard...blessings to you and if you have any other gospel classics...pls upload them on you tube.
