Two amazing talented ladies.

So many fantastic moments in this live set but none better than Rebecca’s stunning vocal arrangement from the 53:40 mark just before the entire band ROCKS into the intro for “AC/DC” to close out the show! WHAT A VOICE AND WHAT A BAND!!! #LarkinPoe 🤘🏻

Saw them in Syracuse Blues Fest at Clinton Square, Paulie Cerra Band was there too, Paulie plays Sax for Joe Bonnamassa, friends of mine, I love them all.

Derek Trucks done said it. "They are the Allman Brothers' little sisters." If that ain't a compliment, I don't know what is. Come on, y'all!!

Their is hope for the future of real music! How many people know who Leadbelly, and Son House are.

The joy they convey just spills right over and makes me happy even though it’s a video. I have to get to one of their concerts!

Megan & Rebecca are a breathe of fresh air! Thank you!!!

How more blues than Larkin Poe can one get. You can't, these two will rock the house evey time.

Dad taught me to play his Blue ridge Gibson, when I was seven years old. Only Megan, plays slide this well. You are the best female vocalists of today. Yes, you are an awesome pair of sisters!

A great sample of Rebecca and Megan, 'Larkin Poe' [the name's one of their ancestors; their genealogy includes Edgar Allan Poe]. The sisters started by studying classical music, transformed to Bluegrass, and got blues, roots, rock and amps somewhere along the road. Rebecca effervesces, Megan smolders - they are Georgia distilled, with joy!

THEY ARE AWESOME I CAN LISTEN TO THOSE GIRLS FOR HOURS

Rebecca’s voice gets better and better!

What could be wrong with the 116 that gave this a thumbs down? Are they not alive???

Didn't know of the band until the 1st KTBAS Mediterranean Cruise... Know 'em now as they stole our hearts and minds with their great sets!

I've seen tons of LP videos, but this live concert clip was awesome! So much energy behind the music. Hoping to see LP live as soon as they get back out on the road!

everything improving: Rebecca's voice and stage presence, Meghan's slide sound and phrasing: really musical and heartfelt: greaaat girls. the rythm section works fine, especially the bass player: nice sound, right notes, scarce and solid playing. . as good as it gets.

@@rickbruner5525 Alright, I'll bite. "Misogynistic" ? So you can't criticize a band with women in it, ever ? Apart from the fact that some of my favourite bands are led by women (Elastica, Japanese Breakfast, Fanny, Courtney Barnett, The Supremes...), and the fact that I have in fact recorded and released my own music, you simply don't need to be a musician to comment on other people's music. This is why I can also have opinions on movies without being a filmmaker, on politics without being elected, on roadworks without being an engineer... To expand, Rebecca always looks like she's going to a party dressed up as a stereotypical "rockstar", and I find their music bland and derivative, even though Megan's slide playing is excellent. This is, as everything else in KZread comments, my opinion.

Woop a shoutout to that amazing drumsound! Tight as a .. really tight drumsound. Someone knew what he/she was doing there. Overall kickass performance.

Same here. I think the audience was basically going "Larkin who?" until they launched into Summertime Sunset and blew the doors off the place. I saw something similar a few years ago when Samantha Fish opened for J.J. Grey. When she came out on stage, most of the audience had no idea who she was, and were more interested in getting beer. That changed quickly!

Played guitar all my life, but since hearing this, been using slide constantly. These kids have deep roots.

God, these talented girls so rock - every song is so damned catchy and so well played. It's a mystery why they aren't so much bigger :(

You both need to sing together more! Your voices compliment each other so well! Love your music, thanks for sharing with us!

Love Larkin Poe! Rebecca and Megan burn it down. One of my favorite of their live performances. Got to see them at Doheny Blues several and blew me away. They had me at lap steel!

I love Blues only live, but it is not difficult to see, that this band should have more "likes" than 5766 (Mid Oct 21). Every shit on the internet is getting more likes, and that's a pity. Solid and honest music. If I would have a chance to see them live, I would go there.

5 1/2 minutes in, the first song just ended, and I'm thinking of a line from the movie Cocoon: " if this is foreplay, then I'm a dead man!"

Ok there is an entire catalog of American canned/lab created acts, singers, songs, bands, and music. NOT HERE GUYS. This is 100% bona fide original. Most people thought they were doa after big sister flaked out somewhere over near UGA, but the American artistic spirit refused to lay down and die. This is simply the hippest music act in America today and quite possibly in the world. Basically I think we have forgotten exactly what HIP is. A few short years ago a Nashville band called Paramore had a certain amount of that. It was more of a pop hip. Larkin Poe has a swanky hip and its oh so grand. Barely in their 20s and already American music legends. Un freakin believable.

Once you let it out..you can feel the people who relate. and suddenly there are so many to relate!!

Ohhhhhhh, so so much love for these ladies!!!!

Absolutely. I've seen them a couple of times, and they're amazing in person. Rebecca in particular is a force of nature on stage, and it really doesn't come across on video.
