LARGEST PET SHOW IN THE WORLD | LA PET FAIR-REPTILE SUPER SHOW

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

#reptilesupershow #snakes #greentreepython
The Reptile Super Show is already considered to be one of the largest reptile shows in the world but this weekend was different. With the addition of birds, aquatics and plants all in separate buildings and designated areas, the LA Pet Fair is truly a massive event spanning over 6 acres. Happy to still be a part of this event from day one, watching the promotion grow over the years just as DM Exotics has also grown and evolved. For details, please visit www.lapetfair.com
Thanks for watching!!!
NOTE: We have turned on Super Thanks...if you enjoy our content and the tremendous amount of time, work and money invested in a project such as this, please consider helping us out.

Those Timors are so pretty and the selection of tree pythons was incredible. They’re such stunning little snakes I can see why they continue to get more and more popular.

I love the Timors and surprised that all three pairs came back from the show. However, even I don't see them too often so now I get to see them everyday until the next show unless they sell before hand. If they are still here after the January Reptile Super Show, they will likely all become permanent residents.

Nido tested?!?!? Talk about raising the bar in the industry..... damn Dan, you just put the whole Chondro community on notice and checked the shxt out of them. The next level and step in setting yourself apart/professionalism from all the rest, even the big dogs and respected OGs in that realm. Checkmate!!!!! Bravo! This should most definitely add way more value to the Chondro game. Props!!!! Wait a minute.... no more Tokays for me to buy? None on your table?

Rockin' that Goatee. Next step, full beard. Hell yeah. If possible, you would be a great person at ColubridFest in Indianapolis end of September. That would make many fans of yours and the snakes you deal with very excited.

It's really good that you are testing. Not a lot of breeders do that when they really should just to protect their own collections.

I know that somehow this will be another reason for the industry not to support us and sponsors will continue lifting up the brands that aren't doing a whole lot for the hobby. However, what matters to us is that we are doing things right and continue building respect and trust with our customers. I feel like an independent music artist that can't get signed with a label but yet I continue inserting myself into the mix :)

Since you have contact in Malaysia you should see if they can catch more of the red kurkri snakes. I imagine the ones going in captivity are significantly inbred by now. Thank you for taking measures to prevent the spread of virus. I always thought too few people cared about disease in our collections. Its easier to prevent problems than deal with them after the fact.

Different species but if kinghorni ever made it into the USA, they would be very expensive but only for serious collectors. The average person would not be able to tell the difference and justify the price.

@@DMExotics the population of scrub pythons from Coen south look similar, but the ones I’ve seen in cape York almost look Papuan- Merauke like.

Having already nido tested gtp’s is a big deal. People that know the score are wary about forking out hundreds of dollars for an animal that may die or worse- infect their other animals. Most gtp keepers would avoid buying gtp’s from expo’s completely for that very reason. Having them already tested just alleviates any of those worries and people will be able to acquire animals from you with confidence. If there’s other people with gtp’s for sale there that aren’t tested no one will buy from them when you have tested animals there. Smart thinking Dan.

  • @DMExotics

We already treated for all that....I didn't mention it because it has been a part of our protocol for almost two decades. Most people have this strange fear that everything is parasite ridden and will die but most animals suffer at the fate of keepers that force meds too fast, using the wrong methods, and inappropriately dose their animals.
