If anybody want to see BIG Hmong New Year, go to Phonsavan, Laos. The new year celebration in Phonsvan make Fresno looks like little league. Growing up in California, I always thought that Fresno New Year was the bomb, until I went to Phonsavan new year. There's no comparison.

i went to hmong new year in minnnesota stp i dressed like a homeless guy and didnt eat for 2 days....so whats up with not wearing hmong clothes?

@@margard1466 no, not a problem at all. You can wear anything you want. I just suggested that if all of us wear Hmong clothes next year that would be nice, that's all. Don't feel offended ok. I don't even have Hmong clothes myself.

It used to be for courting in the past historically due to Hmong ppl living in developing countries and lacking communication resources. Now, we use our smart phones/nightlife/afterparties/alcohol/friends-family/school/other.

I like the video and thank you for upload. Same every year never change, Hmong international new year back in 2010-2017 still better more than this Hmong Culture new year, people just half of Hmong international new year or event less then half. NOw Fresno new year is just a new year not Biggest no more. Hmong international new year is the Biggest over 50 year or more but this one is just a new year like other new year in you city not different.
