india is around 8 trillion not around 6 as you pointed out (in ppp), and usa is around 17 and china is around 18 .......you can go and search the same from various banks and one of them is imf

I love all countries ..

That's the problem with the West. They always want to stay ahead of the East in figurative terms. First the measure of economic prosperity was PPP. But that soon changed to GDP as China and India were fast catching up with the Western economies in PPP terms. And now that we are catching up, and even surpassing the US in GDP terms, the economic narrative is changing to "no, its not GDP that defines how rich a nation is, it is GDP per capita so that we can stay ahead of the East for atleast another 50 years". Now that is hypocrisy.

In Asia number 1. China, 2. India, 3. Japan, 4. Indonesia, 5. South Korea, 6. Saudi Arabia. PPP= power purchasing parity is very important in developing the economy and the industry in any country so the populous country makes their own advantages.

Yeahh indonesia no 8, only indonesia in asean, i love my country. Alhamdulillah.

Mexico is the 11th largest economy. Yet, because of the way the gringos portray my country in their movies, the world seems to think that Mexico is super poor. The gringos are always spreading ignorance about so many things around the world with their dumb movies.

Well Im not trying to be offensive, but the economy ranks should estimated by GDP not PPP. I think this ranking is the PPP ranks. PPP = calculation with out country's price. For example, if getting a hair cut costs 50 in UK and 5 in China and the world average is 25, during the measurment of PPP, both British and Chinese barber's income would be calculated into 25 the same. So now you guys understand why China and India is so high ranked? yeah its because of the large population. But we all know that country's price isnt ignorable. Because it changes the actual life in there with a same amount of money. So real 15 largest economies are USA CHINA JAPAN GERMANY UK FRANCE INDIA BRAZIL ITALY CANADA KOREA AUSTRAILIA MEXICO SPAIN RUSSIA.

There is a general false perception, China does not have cheap labours anymore, Chinese heavy labour cost is higher than most its neighbours: India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, even higher tha most eastern EU countries like Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, etc. A heavy duty labour in typical indutrial city like Dongguan makes 1000USD/month, road workers (laying tarmac) makes 1400USD/month during summer seasons (peak). Home decorating/reconstructuring labour cost easily 50USD/day! They make much more than most low level office boys. Go to China and look for yourself. Chinese economy is not heavily dependent on export, around 20% and still dropping because most western consummers have no cash to buy anymore, many export production turns to domestic production. China has the most cash and highest net value (GDP-national debt), it has most cash to consume. What happened in most Western countries today is consumers have no cash to buy things, many family income = fixed cost (mortgage, car leasing, kids education, food, energy, telebills) or even less than fixed cost, that makes consumers in many western countries fail to consume. China still need its 3rd industrial revolution: specialization within the industry, which had happend in most western countries 50 years ago (designing, reserch, marketing, sales, distribution, service, consultancy industries split off from traditional production industry). Today China is importing technology and good products into the Chinese market, where cash flow is rapid and enormous. China is not interested to push hard to sell goods to foreign consumers who has no cash, u cannot buy without cash! For most people who doubt about above statements, go to any Chinese city see how many Chinese people buys iphone 6, cars, etc with cash? Yes, all bought in cash, only house in mortgage. If you go to a Chinese bank and asking for a loan for iphone or playstation, they will send you to mad house. Then looking into your own pocket: what can you buy with that cash? Better start making cash rather than talking about it!

Para las personas que han sido ofendidas con algún comentario de algún compatriota mío insultando mediante comentarios racistas o xenófobos a los países sudamericanos, esta publicación es para ustedes. India and China was equal in 1980 in economic size but now it is 3 times as big as India in a matter of 30 years but dynamics are again changing with china slowing and india invigorating , hopefully india will catch up with china in another 30 years.

Ali R Have you seen the demography of India vis a vis any other major country. India is in the sweet spot, all the future growth of world will come from India and democracy in India is getting very stronger and credible and that gives great assurance that govt. will have to formulate the right policy to give jobs to 10 millions youth that are entering the job market every year in India. As for china good days are over and you will see 3-4% GDP growth for china every year. Chinese will have population problems as some 400 millions old age people(>60 years old) will live in china in the next 20 years. Its payback time for china for its 1 child policy.
