Discover the latest milestone in Climeworks' Mammoth, the largest direct air capture and storage plant.
Only 18 months after groundbreaking, 90% of the systems, including storage partner Carbfix, are operational. The first 12 CO₂ collector containers have arrived on site, with preparations for initial CO₂ removal underway.

    You need cheap power and a place to inject the co2 underground. Can you do that in the Bronx?

    bro this is for greenhouse gas capture not for polluting gases, artic amplification is more than in other regions.

    How are the machines of this facility operated? If it runs on electricity, is it produced by renewable source? If No, then its a matter of concern
