Michael Jamison is a South African KZreadr who has hand-raised three Tigers since birth and has cared wonderfully for them. To this day, two of them are living and their names are Enzo and Diego. Enzo is the first and oldest tiger and is super chill, even during feeding time (tends to get pissed off at the presence of strangers though). On the other hand, Diego is also a nice tiger. Even really sweet to strangers and, for some reason, occasionally makes high-pitched, meow-like noises. Absolutely *adorable* overgrown kitty. However, when feeding time comes.. Diego is quick to show his evolved aggression instincts to defend a kill. Even towards Jamison who raised him.

Based on available information Bengal tigers for sure aren't smaller than Bengal tigers. Then again while many big lions have been spotted among big lion subspecies, they haven't been weighed unlike tigers in India. Difficult to know but obviously biggest Siberian tigers, Bengal tigers and African lions are in same weight range.

PIn india, there was a tiger named Wagdoh. Wagdoh was the Crowned king of Todoba forest reserve. He was one of largest tiger in the asia weighing over 300kgs. His territory was about 150sq. kms. He mated with many females nd gave birth to around 20 cubs. But his beloved tigress was Madhuri. Madhuri lost her territory to another female nd left Wagdoh's territory forever. At the eame time there was another tiger named Bajrang who had entered Wagdoh's territory. Wagdoh was madly in love with Madhuri so he left his territory in search of Madhuri. He was only defeated by one tiger named Khali as Wagdoh was pretty old nd weak at that time. After the defeat, khali took Wagdoh's beloved Girlfriend Madhuri nd had kids with her. Wagdoh eventually died in 2022. What happened to his territory? Well it was taken by the upcoming king of todoba, Bajrang. Bajrang was not as big as Wagdoh but was still huge and powerful. He successfully defended his territory and defeated many tigers. He had more than 30 kids nd was nd ruled for years after wagdoh left. Later on, he faced the son of matkasur(another male tiger in tadoba), i.e. Chota Matka. At that time, Bajrang was pretty old as well. He was defeated by chota Matka and died in November 2023 due to extensive bleeding and wounds caused during the fight with Chota Matka. Now Bajrang's territory is divided among 6 male tigers. After Wagdoh, bajrang expanded hir territory even more and made it the largest territory of a single male tiger in India.

Many of those sites we find are misleading, I make content about animals and I read a lot from books to articles to actual experiments, I've read articles where studies were made with many specimens as samples for each cat species, the results would surprise you, even across the internet you'll find the right information on that. Siberian tigers weigh as much as bengal tigers, which is between 160-234 kg and are getting even smaller, and even 234 kg is not common and they barely ever weigh more than that, now talk about 300 kg, that's an exaggeration, and even if they weigh up to 300 kg, besides being extremely rare to nearly impossible it's in captivity, not in the wild, and that's way more than they should weigh, it's either obesity or anomaly or both, but usually obesity is the case, it's like when humans grow bigger than they should, they have health complications. Siberian tigers were once upon a time the largest, yes, but not anymore. Cats in general aren't as big as we think, we just get too many misleading info the internet feeds us with. Btw, don't get too worked up and too excited when your favorite animals weigh more than they should, especially in captivity, that's a terrible thing for them and unhealthy.

That is _exceptionally_ large.. even for male Siberian tigers, considering he's not fat & overweight like unethically-kept tigers. For reference they're usually in the 400-700 lb range in captivity. Apollo is an *absolute unit.*

Largest captive lion in the recent 21st Century was a lean, muscular male named Rutledge from Oaklawn Farm Zoo who weighed in at a whopping *807* lbs. Seriously though, only Ligers are capable reaching _anywhere_ near 1,000 lbs naturally. The only other big cat able to reach anything close to that weight would be Siberian tigers like the record-setting Jaipur.. but that's only in cases where they're obese. Nevertheless.. unnaturally-bred Ligers.. obese tigers.. all unethical practices that only POS profiteering criminals like Joe Exotic and Doc Antle partake in.

I don't know. I read somewhere because of poaching, the Bengal has surpassed it in size. I don't know how true that is, not even really sure where I read that. They are beautiful though. They are the reason I think poaching should be an executable offense

In the wild- yes, I think bengal tigers are larger now, mainly due to there being such a larger population. I.e. larger population=more individuals of all sizes including big animals. Siberian tigers are still larger on average if you take the whole world population (including captivity) into account.

But yes, for most of the history of the natural world, the Siberian Tiger was the largest land carnivores...and absolutely a gorgeous animal! Poaching should be a capital offense

Tiger can not kill basically anythng if they are born in captivity. So they must be fed all the time and can not be able to realease wild. That is sad. Though this tiger looks pretty satisfied to me.

Michael Jamison is a South African KZreadr who has hand-raised three Tigers since birth and has cared wonderfully for them. To this day, two of them are living and their names are Enzo and Diego. Enzo is the first and oldest tiger and is super chill, even during feeding time (tends to get pissed off at the presence of strangers though). On the other hand, Diego is also a nice tiger. Even really sweet to strangers and, for some reason, occasionally makes high-pitched, meow-like noises. Absolutely *adorable* overgrown kitty. However, when feeding time comes.. Diego is quick to show his evolved aggression instincts to defend a kill. Even towards Jamison who raised him.

Bengal tigers and lions are same size. Modern science has shown that Siberian tiger isn't biggest cat, it's one of the biggest cats.

Based on available information Bengal tigers for sure aren't smaller than Bengal tigers. Then again while many big lions have been spotted among big lion subspecies, they haven't been weighed unlike tigers in India. Difficult to know but obviously biggest Siberian tigers, Bengal tigers and African lions are in same weight range.

PIn india, there was a tiger named Wagdoh. Wagdoh was the Crowned king of Todoba forest reserve. He was one of largest tiger in the asia weighing over 300kgs. His territory was about 150sq. kms. He mated with many females nd gave birth to around 20 cubs. But his beloved tigress was Madhuri. Madhuri lost her territory to another female nd left Wagdoh's territory forever. At the eame time there was another tiger named Bajrang who had entered Wagdoh's territory. Wagdoh was madly in love with Madhuri so he left his territory in search of Madhuri. He was only defeated by one tiger named Khali as Wagdoh was pretty old nd weak at that time. After the defeat, khali took Wagdoh's beloved Girlfriend Madhuri nd had kids with her. Wagdoh eventually died in 2022. What happened to his territory? Well it was taken by the upcoming king of todoba, Bajrang. Bajrang was not as big as Wagdoh but was still huge and powerful. He successfully defended his territory and defeated many tigers. He had more than 30 kids nd was nd ruled for years after wagdoh left. Later on, he faced the son of matkasur(another male tiger in tadoba), i.e. Chota Matka. At that time, Bajrang was pretty old as well. He was defeated by chota Matka and died in November 2023 due to extensive bleeding and wounds caused during the fight with Chota Matka. Now Bajrang's territory is divided among 6 male tigers. After Wagdoh, bajrang expanded hir territory even more and made it the largest territory of a single male tiger in India.

Male tigers usually grow to be bigger and stronger than male lions but lions grow a lot faster than them that’s why you see these KZread vids of the male lions punking the tigers cuz their younger and are growing at a slower rate 🤷🏽♂️

@@HkFinn83 if you treat them right they will treat your right back. They have similar behavior to house cats if raised properly from captivity tbh, there are many similarities, and lots of signs to tell if it’s safe or not. Hippos are unpredictable and worship Satan

@@danieluzowuru3998 that's nowhere near 300 kg. Do even know what 300 kg is? Dudes just be pulling numbers out their a$$es. Many of those sites we find are misleading, I make content about animals and I read a lot from books to articles to actual experiments, I've read articles where studies were made with many specimens as samples for each cat species, the results would surprise you, even across the internet you'll find the right information on that. Siberian tigers weigh as much as bengal tigers, which is between 160-234 kg and are getting even smaller, and even 234 kg is not common and they barely ever weigh more than that, now talk about 300 kg, that's an exaggeration, and even if they weigh up to 300 kg, besides being extremely rare to nearly impossible it's in captivity, not in the wild, and that's way more than they should weigh, it's either obesity or anomaly or both, but usually obesity is the case, it's like when humans grow bigger than they should, they have health complications. Siberian tigers were once upon a time the largest, yes, but not anymore. Cats in general aren't as big as we think, we just get too many misleading info the internet feeds us with. Btw, don't get too worked up and too excited when your favorite animals weigh more than they should, especially in captivity, that's a terrible thing for them and unhealthy.

@@danieluzowuru3998 This is Apollo from Jugomaro Predator Park and he's 375 kg (~827 lbs) to be exact, according to the title of one of their videos. That is _exceptionally_ large.. even for male Siberian tigers, considering he's not fat & overweight like unethically-kept tigers. For reference they're usually in the 400-700 lb range in captivity. Apollo is an *absolute unit.*

The biggest male Lion ever recorded was over 12 feet long and weigh 827 pounds or 375 kilograms, and male Lions are able to reach weights up to 1,000 pounds in captivity.

Largest captive lion in the recent 21st Century was a lean, muscular male named Rutledge from Oaklawn Farm Zoo who weighed in at a whopping *807* lbs. Seriously though, only Ligers are capable reaching _anywhere_ near 1,000 lbs naturally. The only other big cat able to reach anything close to that weight would be Siberian tigers like the record-setting Jaipur.. but that's only in cases where they're obese. Nevertheless.. unnaturally-bred Ligers.. obese tigers.. all unethical practices that only POS profiteering criminals like Joe Exotic and Doc Antle partake in.
He is a big boy. Off the top of my head, I seem to recall that the Siberian Tiger is the largest subspecies of tigers. He a magnificent creature.

I don't know. I read somewhere because of poaching, the Bengal has surpassed it in size. I don't know how true that is, not even really sure where I read that. They are beautiful though. They are the reason I think poaching should be an executable offense

In the wild- yes, I think bengal tigers are larger now, mainly due to there being such a larger population. I.e. larger population=more individuals of all sizes including big animals. Siberian tigers are still larger on average if you take the whole world population (including captivity) into account.

But yes, for most of the history of the natural world, the Siberian Tiger was the largest land carnivores...and absolutely a gorgeous animal! Poaching should be a capital offense

Tiger can not kill basically anythng if they are born in captivity. So they must be fed all the time and can not be able to realease wild. That is sad. Though this tiger looks pretty satisfied to me.
