Large Hot Air engine and Steam engines

The first one is an old and large hot air engine. It appears to be being turned by an electric motor, I don't know if that's because the engine doesn't work or because the museum didn't want an open flame going. The hot engine piston is about a foot diameter.

They are called governors They were used to regulate the amount of .steam allowed into the engine from the boiler. They did this to maintain a constant speed in the engine, as the engine sped up the balls would spread out do to centrifugal force, this action would cause the intake pipe for the steam to close, causing the engine to slow, which would then cause the balls to fall and open up the intake. this kept the engine running at a fairly consistent speed.

I am very sorry. I have not an workshop where to manufacture this engine. applying the MALONE's idea injecting few water cubic cm, its efficiency incrises two or three times. i tested it with my engines.
