Large Family Vlog || Homeschool High School || The Good and the Beautiful High School Curriculum

Homeschooling high school can be intimidating for sure! This is our first year having a high schooler in our homeschool. Today I share with you a little glimpse into how we use The Good and the Beautiful for our high schooler and middle school aged students. We are very thankful to The Good and the Beautiful for giving us this years high school curriculum for us to review and use. Our 9th grade student enjoyed her high school year and how the curriculum is laid out and introduced great literature into our homeschool.

    I remember reading about Helen Keller in school & her story was very interesting to me. Also, Little House On the Prairie series and Charlotte’s Web! This brought back so many memories. It feels so good to sit out in the sun & watch the kids play! Awesome video! 💕🌷

    Sorry, my comments are just as I watch. So funny the smashing sounds and your expression. Lol When people visit us there can be sounds like the ceiling is gonna fall and I don't even notice. Then look at the visitor who is alarmed. Lol

    ❤️ Finding high school curriculum that is acceptable in our state is so hard! We’ve been using Abeka for years but we are completely changing everything next year because it’s no longer working for us. Actually considered using TGATB but it wasn’t on our acceptable list for our umbrella school! So frustrating sometimes!

    Yeah, your children are closer in age than mine. My oldest is 22 and baby is 4. I am older now and have lost a baby since my last. My first five babies were within less than six years, then they naturally spread out.

    Do you like the TGATB more than cle?

  • @FieldsFullHouse

    @FieldsFullHouse

    3 жыл бұрын

    I like them both equally. It depends on what the child needs. TGATB does not provide a lot of repetition. CLE does (almost annoyingly so!) but a couple of my kids need the repetition. My plan is once they are at a better place I will move them back to TGATB. (For elementary)
