I cry every single time💔 Lara is not of this world!

Hooooly sh***t!! I had never seen this one before and was NOT prepared for that. I've watched her "From Lara with Love" performance of Je Suis Melade many, MANY times and that doesn't ever get old and still tugs at me each time. Didn't think the song/performance could get any more emotional. But this?? I was in shock by the end. My heart was racing and the tears were rolling. That was AMAZING! Just wow. I need to watch/listen to that whole concert. I'll probably be laying in a puddle by the end of it.

Sadly, that’s what happens when people keep pushing the same concert…you end up missing out on a lot of (better) stuff 🫢 as Daniela said, you should definitely react to the full show. It is, imo, better than from Lara with love.

I have some thoughts about those two concerts in particular and the conversation about which is “better” -which I’m sure we all agree is an argument of millimeters when you’re trying to rank her performances. Maybe I’ll find a way to get into them sometime.

Certainly as a storyteller, from what I’ve seen, I would have to agree with that.

At the paroxysm of her art back then (in my book anyway). She had that raw talent and was not holding it back. Well, as you all know she had been trained and singing for many years before that show, but the way she was blasting her vocals during that era was amazing. The ending of this interpretation of Je suis malade is mind blowing of course.

I go back to this concert over and over, Lara was truly at the pinnacle of her art and career to date during this concert. The french word for what happened to me the first time I sat down and watched this concert is "boulverse"(sorry no accents on keyboard) I was totally unprepared for the emotional roller coaster that this concert took me on. Glad you enjoyed!

She is the most amazing talented woman

When ever Lara sings that song, it’s never the same but the effect keeps getting stronger. The song ,´Je t’aime ´ is the same thing.

I do agree. And yes, I’ve seen many requests for this. Please understand, I am not ignoring requests from viewers on KZread, there is simply a lot of this. In the last 28 days alone I have jade more that 250,000 unique viewers on the channel and so many of you leave comments with requests. Please don’t think I’m ignoring you or other just because you don’t give me money. But in a person with a family and things to do and bills to pay, unfortunately. And these videos take between 5 an 8 hours or so to make (and I make 6 to 12 a week usually). That’s a lot of hours. I appreciate your support and being here on KZread watching with me. Please be patient with me.

Another big fan of Lara, however there is a tradition of French artists performing this style of emotive performance. You should check out Jacques Brel singing Ne me quitte pas, for instance.

I love Lara Fabian since 2001, but this performance was too much for me, utterly unneccessary, it broke the song rythmn and for me made it unpleasant to listen to over and over again, though he show as a whole has been awesome and another turning point in her career.
