I love Lara so much!!! this is the first song i've heard from her 15 years ago. never forget that night ,sitting in front of my pc watching this video , my body crossed by chills , I started to cry and I couldn't stop. That night I saw and rewiewed this video in loop at least thirty times litterally hypnotized by her beauty, grace and ability to transmit emotions. A great love was born for this artist that still lasts today. And for the same reasons I started to love Dimash. Thank you for the reaction

That is me today. I just discovered her and I am so sad I did not do it 20 years ago. So so very sad. But still happy I did at last...

I have been a fan of Lara Fabian for more than 10 years now. She is an absolute powerhouse. Not only she can sing in so many different languages ( French, Italian, Russian, English, Spanish, just to name a few ), but she can also speak them fluently. Thank you for reacting to her.

There's not really much to say other than....Perfection!!!

true artistic commitment. A singer should commit or go home. Breathing into the mic., small silent breaks, talk-singing.... all different techniques used to convey emotion. Beautifully executed by a true artist.

At 6:48, "cet amour me tue" (this love is Killing me) gets me every time!... So smooth, so rich, so emotional, so perfect!…

No one can sing this song, like Lara! She is wonderful!

Damn it...I cry every time, every time! No other artist has had that effect on me. Her physical beauty is only eclipsed by her incredible talent.

Out of this world. Every time I see this performance I can't help it but I start crying.

Lara is an amazing vocalist!!! Like Dimash she can get out of herself and get totally connected to (what I term) source energy. When that connection occurs she is unstoppable!!!

My mom listened to Lara a lot during my childhood. Very accomplished in terms of what she can do with her voice. That belting in the end - she would need to keep her emotions in check and that may be also why she was a bit spaced-out in the end. To keep the balance. Her voice is full, but not heavy. I like it. I am also glad that she brought Mylene Farmer to my attention; although, their styles could not be more different.

I was glad to see you mention her condition at the end of this song. A lot of people doing these reactions don't pick up on that as they just cut it off as soon as she stops singing. And fail to mention just how emotionally invested in this song she actually is. There are very few performances by any other artists that could match this one. Maybe Pavarotti I don't know as I may be just a little biased as I believe Lara Fabian to be the greatest singer of our time.

I have been a fan of her for almost 17 years now. Her song Broken Vow was an insert in this famous Taiwanese Drama Meteor Garden. I feel in love with her with that song, I kept playing that over and over. Adagio, Caruso, Je t'aime, Growing Wings etc.

Both her and Céline Dion ran in a contest the "same" year. Sadly, she came in no 2. She is belgium-canadian. She is not only one of the best diva, pretty as hell, she, as a human being is way better. I like Céline, but I love Lara.

Thank you for bringing Lara to the attention of your audience! She is an amazing singer who is very well known in Europe, with a bunch of albums, but her music has never crossed to the USA, and it's our loss. You are so right about her commitment to each performance -- she really does dig deep and give everything when she sings. And such a gorgeous voice!

And, as great as Dimash is, I agree with the point you made that Dimash watched and listened to Lara and learned what it takes to reach that emotional level. Thanks for the great analysis, this is from her PBS special in ~2002, probably the best of many great performances. I also recommend to listen to her performance of Perdere l'amore from that same program ... shows even more of her range, and try to hear her visual expressions in her voice ... it's magic! Such a wonderful performer and one of the 5 best female singing voices of the last 50 years.

My dear friend Wolf Rock, I have been listening to her singing that song, especially, maybe 30 times since it was posted and I cannot believe that i still cry each time. It tells me how much her singing and her acting are so credible that i cannot help but fools myself tinking that it really happened to him or her. Like when you watch a movie and , at the end, you let yourself believe for few minutes that the actor or actress is really the character he or she played. And you have to admit that, even if you were not in tears because of your curcumstances, you were tearing up a little. The day that Dimash will succeed in making us cry the way that Lara does, then he will have to recognize that he has finally reach her level. Would you agree with me on that?

Well said Olly. She literally lives out the words in the song. She sings, she talks, she whispers and use all her body to convey the true emotion of the song. Can you please react a few more songs of her? Specially Je T’aime from one of her live performances. When you talk about her facial expressions, I have just remember her face and her emotions during Je T’aime in Paris 2001 concert. I watched maybe thousands of videos from different artists, but that video is the only one that made me cry. Maybe you do a live stream of her concert From Lara With Love one day?
