I guess once you have 12 commander damage from something that can be unblockable you get a bit paranoid.

Agreed. Having it bee super evasive is great but also puts a target on her. I face this problem in my nine-fingers keene deck. I attack for the trigger but end up killing them to cmdr dmg.

She is a build around deck. Same with Kadena. You keep them off the battlefield and the deck just sucks. I have both decks and I hate it when this happens.

Kinda crazy to spite play kill the lara croft (for the 376th time this game) with baleful mastery instead of killing aurelia in response to equip or just literally anything on the isshin board

So Lara Croft was killed a whole bunch while Isshin was basically left alone? 🤷‍♂️

22:53 He already factored in the 1 life from cleric class, that’s why he gained 5 and not 6. The counter goes on after gaining life, so flumph has 4 toughness + 1 = 5.

When Alex said 2/3s' of the viewers weren't subscribed I was like "That sucks, couldn't be me". Scrolled down...it was me. I was not subscribed. I fixed that lol

so rolling stones actually says Wall creatures can attack as though they didn't have defender. which is a big part of why i dont run it or at least wouldnt if i had a defender based deck

Actually built Lara myself and only did it "fairly" for myself and it's "not good." I had _no idea_ it hit other player's GY (cuz why would it do that?). Thanks to the folks here and especially Aaron for making me feel dumb.

For 37:17 when deflecting swat was cast, why did it have to be something that wasn't Aaron's? Otawara and Deflecting swat both don't care, was there hexproof from something?

Actual moral of the story; commander players are generally not good at threat assessment. Rather than preventing to get a situation out of hand, in this game a single commander gets removed over and over like it was a meme.

K-9 was the big deal here. Lara can crank out commander damage. I run a voltron and extra attack step version of Lara. K-9 means everyone dies at once.

@@TheSpikeFeeders correct. Was just pointing that out after Alex's comment that he "wouldn't be able to deal with the second and third attacks". While the players at that table were probably aware, the audience might've not, so pointed it out in case someone was reading the comments.
