    It is so great that you posted this !!! Its so sad that I am just to busy with an online stats course to really give it its due consideration. I will be saving this video for future thinking about. I'm guessing that you are showing us a proof or deduction of the inverse - a line integral. I'm well practiced at Laplace and understand the forward transform - it really helps to know Fourier first for this and it's quite clear. How to invert without tables - not so much.

    Hello Math Sorcerer, I love your channel! I’m a finance graduate who recently decidedly to dive into the fascinating world of math. I’ve been collecting math books for self study but many of them lack answers to most if not all the problems. Is there a specific reason why many authors do this?

    Yeah maybe they have reasons. Some authors believe it’s better for people to figure stuff out themselves. Other times they write the book and since it’s being used for a class they think some teachers might not want all the answers. Some math books do have all the answers and some even have full solutions. But yeah, most don’t. It would be better if more had answers I think!
