    At 10:21 the drawing on the left has the capacitor in it but the solution drawing to the write includes an inductor and the opposing current source; are we doing the Laplace Transform for a capacitor or inductor?

  • @MatthewGarciaMusic

    @MatthewGarciaMusic

    6 жыл бұрын

    So it looks like an inductor but its more of a square box that has the impedance of 1/(sC), so ITS NOT AN INDUCTOR.

    Is s supposed to mean second^-1 ? I mean you said R = C^-1 * s^-1.. 1ohm is kg*m^2/(second*Coulomb^2) and 1F is second^2*Coulomb^2/(kg*m^2).. If you divide 1ohm by 1/1F (essentially multiplying the two), you get 1 second. But that s you wrote in that formula is in the denominator, essentially suggesting that s stands for second^-1. Is that correct?

    cause it's a current and current = voltage over impedance so v(s)/(1/cs) = v(s) cs

    The down going current at 11:39 should be C*s*V(s). The labeled 1/sC is the impedance of what should be a capacitor.
