Yea in slime while there are still some evil villains, there’s also a decent few who deeply care for each other and we’re. Even some who follow the motto of Live long enough to see yourself become a villain

Even if they are being complete hypocrites when doing so? Laplace cared for someone like Clayman but helped him kill and make slaves out of so many people. Well, I liked it too only because they get to experience the pain they force onto others.

If he really cared about Clayman, he would've told him to stop being such an asshole and to stop causing so much pain and suffering. But, no, he wants to let him go around making slaves out of people, killing whole villages, and plotting against humans all the way to Damon lords. What did he expect that Clayman would just be fine as long as he didn't mess with the strongest Demon lords? I say that as the only time he ever even gave Clayman a warning is when he messed with Milim and that was after he tried her in the first place which has to be the dumbest thing one could do! That's like if someone was to poke a lion over and over but once they get bit they act shocked.

Honestly, it hit me a good bit. Like: "I'm laughing because the others will produce the tears and rage". That's really deep, and honestly depressing in a good way.

I actually started really liking Laplace in this scene just cause he shows he cares for clay man.

He really cried a lot after defeating Roy.

Man, it was even more gruesome in the manga. But it's actually nice to see how even someone as villainous and manipulative as Clayman had people who loved him, to the point of killing the powerful servant of a Demon Lord just for insulting his death. Laplace went crazy right there.

An army & soldiers fight for a cause they believe is right and defend their country, but will still strive to fight with dignity and fairness like not killing wounded or civilians. But with them, all they do is work for money and will kill any to accomplish their goal without a second thought as the soldiers, men, women, and children are slaughtered and most likely take part in it as well. Yeah, exactly, they have hearts, they care about their friends, and they want the best for them. But that's what makes them pathetic hypocrites because they take from others what they don't want to be taken from them and will get mad when it has. That's the height of hypocrisy! They killed all of Benimaru’s people and with the help of Clayman's forces they were going to slaughter ALL OF EURAZANIA’S CIVILIANS! As they've been alive for HUNDREDS OF YEARS so they've probably massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

Laplace is hella strong but not that strong to overpower ray that easily. He himself admits later on that ray was weakened by new moon and got careless around laplace which is why it went down so easily. Ray was a acting demon lord for Christ sake

I wish they added the part where he massacred the priests and the aftermath when he tells everyone else.

You can hear that, even in his head, his voice is about to crack from how heartbroken he is. Just goes to show that even villains can have meaningful relationships, and that they hurt when someone close to them is taken away.

Oh and he played Hijikata too. Not to mention that at least 4 of the main cast from Gintama were here too. (Sugibro - Aldaman, Akira Ishida -Guy, Takasugi's VA - Clayman, and Hijikata VA - Laplace) It's safe to say that Slime's production crew were going all in by hiring one of the best and famous Voice Actors

Spoiler Roy isn't technically dead. Roy is born when Louis split himself into two entities. Roy and Louis. Laplace killing him restored Louis to full strength. Laplace finds out that later when they try to steal something important from luminus. And there's fight between Leon, rimuru, Chloe and luminus. It's also when rimuru finds out and confirms that yuki was behind it all.
