3:47 the pain in LZ heart during that time, if you have invested too much in understanding the novel, (most versions are altered and modefied so i still stick to the novel), at this very time stamp, the actor Wang Yibo delivered with certainty what LZ in the novel felt...gosh. i cried seeing that pain in his eyes.

I really feel so bad for LanZhan on this . His frustrations is understandable and it hurts me much 🥺

But you can really see how lwj's eyes cast down a bit after wy said not to interfere in jiang sect's business 😭 And how wei ying doesn't trust that lan zhan believed in him at the end of clip, which prompted him to ask lz 16 yrs later if he really believed in him before 😭😭

He just wants to HELP YOU WEI WUXIAN PLEASE😭😭😭 i mean i know how this goes-i’ve seen it so many times but imagine if things were different and WWX JUST ACCEPTED THE HELP THEY WERE GIVING HIM😭😭i know it’s not easy but GOD it’s so painful to just watch him suffer and Lan Zhan is suffering too because the man he loves is like this and he can’t do anything about it 😭😭😭

I think WWX wanted LZ to be with him too,it's just that he felt like LZ doesn't trust him that much, that is why he didn't accept his help😔.

Cause if you notice, WWX often mentions LZ’s status and standing in society, the same goes for future episodes, even in the present period. He is worried about tarning the great Hanguang Jun with his use of necromancy.

The misunderstanding was so complicated I wanted to cry and was a bit annoyed why weiying didn't understand wangji's good intentions😭

Well, Lan Wangji can be very difficult to understand. For one, he wasn’t the clearest communicator back then, and Wei Wuxian already thought he didn’t trust him. So can we blame Wei Wuxian for misunderstanding Lan Wangji? And more importantly, the thing that caused this misunderstanding was so monumental that it pained Wei Wuxian to talk about it, and he feared how people would react if the truth came out, especially Jiang Cheng or Jiang Yanli. He made the sacrifice for Jiang Cheng and he was very prideful. If Jiang Cheng learned what Wei Wuxian gave up on his behalf, the truth would break him (as we see later on.) And Jiang Yanli is a gentle, kind soul. If she learn what her shidi sacrificed for her brother, she’d be devastated. So (from where I’m standing) Wei Wuxian thought it was better to be seen as a rogue figure than a pitiful one. 💔😢😭

Lan Zhan x Wei Ying ❤️❤️ Lan Zhan and Wei Ying fell for each other at first sight. Because through all those good deeds and twisted methods for justice to protect others, he was actually causing his and all their demise, and Lan Zhan could neither deny Wei Ying to protect others or do justice when Wei Ying asks him for that literally holding Lan Zhan's heart in his hands, but he couldn't see him go to his demise either.

As much as WWX was trying to protect Jiang Cheng, of all people who could keep a secret, it would be LZ. I think he also had his own pride keeping him from telling LZ, which in turn shows that to some extent he doesn’t yet completely trust LZ.
