Thank you for the island's tour. I went to Tenerife like 22 years ago on our end of high school trip, from Barcelona. I've been thinking of visiting some of the smaller islands. The landscape is beautiful whith it's volcanic origins and the amazing plants. I wish I could travel out of the holiday specifically dates so it's no so crowded and also cheaper. The apartment resort looked very nice. I would have loved to see you drive on the other side 😅. It's easy to get used to. I did it in Ireland this summer and was surprised how quickly my brain got used to it. As a cat mom I also loved that you showed the stray cats food and water station. We have new animal laws and the city hall has to take care of them. Maybe you could explain in a video what it's like in the UK, spay cats, feeding street cats and compare it w with the countries you visit (long term project). Great video!

It looks beautiful and relaxing there. I hope the kitties aren't missing you too much. The flowers are bougainvillea. We had them in our yard at the house I grew up in, here in Houston, Texas. I'm looking forward to part 2.😊

A Canary Island Holiday is perfect for January! It is exciting to learn how economical this vacation can be. The sea air, sunshine, blooming flowers, fresh fruit, fish, and beautiful resort makes this get-away the perfect prescription for vitamin D starved northern hemisphere residents. Bravo.

Hi Iwan i really enjoyed your vlog. It has cheered me up so much seeing the blue skies and beautiful sunshine. I would love to go there one day. I watch your charity shop and car boot videos too. It keeps my spirits up. I am a carer for my 93 (almost) Mum with Alzheimer's and who needs my help 24/7 and my disabled Hubby too. If im ever feeling a bit down i watch one of your amazing blogs/vlogs etc. I absolutely love charity shop shopping too. I have got some fantastic bargains over the years. I once got an electric food processor for £1 at a Boys Brigade car boot type thing. It was sold as seen , cleaned up in dishwasher and worked for getting on 20years. I parted with it when my Hubby bought me a new one so I reluctantly let it go. I found it a good home. Gave it to one of the carers who helps me with Mums mobility ...so it carries on. Thankyou fir bringing me sunshine on rainy days. Id love to come charity shopping with you, you make me smile 😂 x

Aww im so jealous, the hotel looks gorgeous. I stayed down the road from there, a few years ago. Loved Playa Flamingo, swam with the little fishes around me. We took a taxi out to the volcano, to have a walk around. And Correlejo is one of my fave places i have ever been, such a gorgeous place! Lovely bars, restaurants and shops. I love how they now have cat feeding stations. I volenteer for cat protection and feed our strays on my street in Liverpool, i remember going to Tenerife once and so many cats.

My husband and I spent Christmas 2019 (just before the nightmare of Covid began) at Corralejo. We used to walk across the dunes and hear Christmas tunes playing from the hotel. Very surreal! 😂🧡💚

Lanzarote and Playa Blanca is my happy place. Went there when I was 5, first holiday abroad. Been back several times. We usually stay in a villa. But these apartments look fantastic as well. Will definitely have to look at them.

That was a trip back in time for me, a few moons ago I stayed in Corralejo just a hop skip and jump from the ferry. We did a day trip to Lanzarote and they were making sand sculptures there 😅 Fuerteventura is know for its winds hence all the windsurfing going on but on a hot day it’s lovely and refreshing. Must go back there as it was a fantastic place for a relaxing break x

Loved the little cottage how sweet and just big enough with plenty of space and a little bit of outside space too! That was impressive I must say and opened up so many options for you to take your pick of where to sit as the mood takes you.The pretty flowers are one of my faves, it is Bougainvillea, if you was wondering it's name. On board snacks were so expensive! A small bad of cheeslets were £2.00! Back then that was very expensive especially having to get five packets! Made my purse weep! Made certain I took our own snacks on the return flight!

Loved the vlog, great tip regarding the cost of taxi versus hire car.

Thanks for taking us with you! I haven't had a vacation/holiday in years and hope I can finally get on top of things and make it to London this fall or Christmas. I'm not a sunbather as I burn to a crisp, but is lovely to see the sunshine and the beautiful locations.

We have been going to Playa Blanca for over 30 years and love it . 3 times last year including 10 days over xmas. If you are planning another visit can highly recommend going to El Golfo and the Sunday market in Teguise.xx

We came here last summer. Our rooms were behind yours. Lovely hotel, not enough staff in restaurant and windy in pool area. Pool was very cold. Staff lovely.

Montana Roja is the mountain, it's a good hike up to the crater, good views at the top, beware of pickpockets in busy areas, sometimes they use distraction techniques, so watch what you put in your bags or pockets.

I've only ever been to lanzarote once but that was 19yrs ago 😳 stayed in Puerto del Carmen, was canny. My quick n easy go to hol the last 10yrs has been tenerife. That cheesy Bruschetta in fuertaventura looked sooo nice!! 😍

Lanzarote is my soul's home. It's special, magical. I'm looking forward to your Teguise-Vlog - I'm sure you've enjoyed this beautiful town and maybe Castillo Santa Barbara. But for the next time - and as I hope that you have fallen in love with Lanzarote as well - you should totally check out the North. César Manrique - the whole Islands breathes his legacy. Los Jameos del Agua - most incredible place I've ever seen in my whole life.

We stayed at that hotel ,very nice ,lovely to have your own little villa and terrace area ,The staff were great and it’s about a 20 minute walk to the port ,we would walk down and get a taxi back 5euros

Hi Mr Carrington. I absolutely loved this. Such beautiful scenery and loved seeing round it all. I’ve always wanted to go Fuerteventura so thank you for showing us. I am watching Jane Mac Donald in the Canary Islands and loving that too. The only one I’ve to is Gran Canaria and it was beautiful but would love to go Tenerife and lanzarote too. I loved the big cat sitting and how nice they put food and water out for stray cats such a lovely thing to do. Looking forward to the second video. Have a lovely day 💕

My favourite thing was the sand dragon with the fires in the nostrils...fun! The sun is going to catch you more with all that wind, you should have a right old tan!

Hi Mr. C 😊 been to Playa Blanca twice (we nearly got locked down there in 2020 as we were there when COVID hit!!) it’s a beautiful place to go. We stayed just up the road from where you were but the hotel with its bungalows is remarkably similar. The people are lovely and I can’t wait to see the market vlog - we did an excursion to there last time we went with Tui…lovely place ❤ thanks for one of the favourite vlogs you’ve done so far ❤

You need to holiday more, Iwan. Fab to see you looking relaxed, happy and refreshed. A few videos recently, particularly Slow Start to January, had amid-life crisis vibe and low energy. I think 2023 had some low points for you. Book another break straight away.

We went there many year’s ago. We booked a luxury Villa, massive with its own pool. I still cooked most days. Hubby loves his roast dinners but has to have mint sauce regardless of the meat so I bought fresh mint and made it the old fashioned way as they did not sell the jars of it. We had such a great time until. The twin towers were hit. We walked the volcanic caves, beaches were inaccessible where we stayed even though we drove to find one? I did the garden whilst there as it was dying. By the end of the two weeks it looked so lovely. Home from home! 😀👍👍👍

Just said to the misses as you were buttering the toast, that toast would be going under my eggs and that’s were yours went. Hungry Horse is better than any Weathers I’ve been in all day long.

I enjoy vicariously through you Iwan. Gorgeous place and scenery too. I’m still slowly getting Christmas taken down. Just a few bits now that are more wintery . It’s so cold and windy here in Northern California so your earth is a nice distraction. ❤❤❤
