He's a pretty good DJ but I think his productions are vastly overrated. They all just use the same cheesy, boring arpeggiated melodies. He hasn't really innovated on his sound since like 2014, and he inspired an annoying amount of poor copycats who oversaturated the sound

Always come back to this. I listened to it daily through the covid lockdown here in the UK. Although that was a bad time, this set was the perfect release and brought calmness to the situation for me. I now have a son and he loves to listen to it too. I can see myself still coming back to this video in 10 years time!

Loving this new generation of musicians,guys like 'Lane 8' 'Ben Bömher' 'Spencer Brown' 'Max Cooper' 'Olafur Arnolds' 'Yotto' etc. have really opened a whole new genre of electronic music and it's brilliant..I've been listening to electronic dance music from 1990,when I first heard 'Gurujosh Infinity' and '808 State Pacific' and this new generation has lifted the music to a new level..👏🎹🔊🎧😌

It was one of the most amazing concerts I have ever witnessed. It felt a house party with the most phenomenal music anyone could ask for. Saw him at red rocks and he had up put our phones in pouches so that we wouldn't pay any mind to them. Everyone was present, everyone just vibing in nature. Ill never forget it and hope that I can have another experience like that. I keep my phone away but when the mass did it, something took the most epic shift. I'll chase that feeling forever.

I highly doubt this edited video was uploaded the *same day* (note lack of smoke from the Cameron Peak fire), but I was thinking "WTF?!??!" as well when I saw this come up in my feed. I felt like I missed something. Can you imagine being out on the lake early AM and see him DJ'ing and somehow stumble upon something so beautiful?

man i just love it that all the perfomers had the creativity to take that weird time and just go into the nature and make those nature concerts

I’ve been listening to dance music for 25 years. Lane is hands down my favorite dj / producer of the past few years.

What has Corona done for us? Less of the Party-DJ in the club or at a festival. Love this connection between human, nature and music!

You should check out the lake/s. I camped on Lake Granby shore up the road a few years back. And it’s great having him in Denver

My favourite thing about this is seeing the skyline tilt in time to his boogieing :) It always makes it more enjoyable when a DJ is clearly enjoying things themselves, rather than being stoic and in their head.

Revisiting in almost April of 2024. The days have flown by, yet this is still such a wonderful set to rewatch and listen. ❤

This so much, I just moved away from the area a few years ago and it's really depressing to think about all the amazing areas out there that are still burning and it's even worse when you consider that if nothing changes, its all going to burn and be replaced by fast growing deciduous forests as the warming continues. We might be the last generation to enjoy those forests as they look today.

First... I am from Granby. This was because the forest service didn't let us harvest the dead pine beetle for the past 20 years. All of us that harvested our own property trees had our house saved. The federal governent didn't want others to make money off their property and it burned. Second... This was the fault of some asshole tourists by Steamboat that didn't know how to manage a firepit while camping.

Imagine renting a cabin for the weekend and waking up to this.. 😍

@@HiDean So, the sound is coming from the boat. On the boat, he has some monitor speakers. But, the sound is so clear because as he was mixing, he was also recording the mix.

The opening shot of the red sunrise light on the water... The soft piano intro coming up... The whole set feels like a sunrise in itself. This is something else, a set that will stay in peoples memories for a long time to come.

Watching the sunset while I listen to sunrise set feels full circle and beautiful 😌

I spent 6 months here in 2006. Granby Co. Was an inspector for the Sol vista Basin resort condos. Everyday i would drive to this Lake and just be at peace. Id walk back to my condo and smell the fields of Lavender in the back valley. If you ever get a chance to go there. Its Truly Heaven ❤

As a sober, hardworking and upstanding citizen I can only fully agree with you. For example, I myself am extremely HHHHYYYYYPPPED!!!! and on a (mostly natural) high listening to this electronic dance music. Yes. If. I'm not saying I am a recreational druguser, but if I was.
