Its a very fine line to get correct. They are very expensive to build and the customers are usually on a budget not wanting to overspend. It pays us a living and we get to do something we love. But its not an easy to make money in this industry.

Fantastic work Sam. If you would travel up to West Yorkshire and do all that for £2k I would hire you 😅 My budget is woefully short of my dreams but thank you for showing me what a professional top notch job would look like.

Thats a very good point 👍. This was pretty traditional but some these days have reinforced concrete bases etc and lads will get a shock in 50 odd years when they try to re-landscape them!

The design had some jarring angles that were eventually softened by plants. The work was very good quality.

Hi its hired in but the grading bucket is about 900mm, then there's a 400 and 300. It's also got a 150 trenching bucket which is excellent for narrow cable trenches and hard ground!

Quality work lads yous should be proud 👍 do you do the designs yourself or get a designer in? Love the use of natural materials every time for me 🙌

Thanks for the comment - all the gardens are designed by various local designers we've met over the years. We just do the builds. Natural stone definitely gives the best character 👍

Thats really interesting, there are so many styles and preferences. Curves are my favourite features of gardens. I like modern but not formal. As John Brookes said - a house is square and the garden can flow organicly

Thanks for the interest. All the info is in the description -We cut down a load of pavers into angles before starting and then had plenty of different sizes to lay in one go. Once we got a rhythm going it went down really quickly!

Glad you liked it. The soundtrack is instrumental versions of songs written by one of my friends although he hasn't released them yet. Called Josh Fontana.

Thank you for the good feedback! The clay pavers are by globlestone and called tudor. The project lasted 7 weeks although during the first 2 weeks we had too much snow on the ground to work. It was one on the worst winters we've had for years but got there in the end!

Thank you. Its called 'slurry primer'. Its meant for porcelain patios although we apply it to all slabs now as it increased the bond and makes patios stronger
