Landscape photography with the Mamiya 45mm wide angle lens Pt II - ASMR Photography

Фильм және анимация

This is the second part of my lens testing of the Mamiya Sekor C f2.8 45mm using a Mamiya 645 1000s camera. Last time I went hiking, I didn't have enough time to get used to it, but now, after about 5 rolls of film, I can say it's a great lens to be added to my collection. It's well constructed and I'm happy about the quality of the images I'm getting. I hope you enjoy the video.

I like that you did subtitles and no voice. Gave a much nicer vibe for a photo channel. I'm going to have to look thru the other videos tomorrow!!! Thanks for sharing this, I am just about to get my 645 and this gives me an idea of what to expect with shooting Portra 120.

wow - excellent photos and video, very calming! Do you do your own scanning, if so with a scanner or with a digital camera?

  • 3 жыл бұрын

I'm glad you liked! It depends on the roll of film, in this case it was scanned with an Epson v600 I believe. I definetly prefere to scan with a digital camera but I find it very meticulous and time consuming unless you have a setup ready for that.

Hi! Do you know if the Mamiya m645 (not 1000s) can use a regular shutter release cable? Thank you 😊

  • Жыл бұрын

Hey! I have not idea but I'm pretty sure it has it, most slrs and medium format camera bodies do :)

7:22 So nice!! how did you got to those colors, have you changed it anyways in photoshop? Stunning photo!

  • 3 жыл бұрын

Thank you so much! I often adjust colors in Photoshop but in this case I believe I only accentuated the warm it already had with the sunrise and the Portra film :)

Martí, may I ask what audio setup you are using while filming these? Well done!

  • 3 жыл бұрын

Of course! I was using a Zoom F1 with the XYH-6 capsule set at 120º. Not the most comfortable setup but the BMPCC 4k is a picky camera when it comes to audio :) Some of my other videos are recorded simply with a Sony a6500 with a Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro. Hope it's useful to know this!
