Who else is here after watching Thomas' latest video (3 Apr 2019) ? I had to come and see for myself. Well done Thomas! Chalk and cheese 2019 vs 2014, but every bit as enjoyable as always.

so this is where you started.

It's so unreal looking at your very first video. The way you speak, the way you move, I can see the nervousness. But at the same time I can essentially see the fire in your eyes (corny as hell I know) I can see you feel relief and accomplishment when you finish recording. What a legend.

I loved thenewsletter I had never seen your very first video, its wonderful. Congrats on your 10 years. And very inspiring to read your newsletter, loved it.

Been a fan for a while. It is amazing to see where you started. Thanks for bringing us along with you on this journey. You have been an inspiration.

I was just telling my girlfriend the same thing. I've been along for most of the journey and hadn't really realized his progress until going back and looking at this video. It's amazing what has happened in the last 3 years.

I've been going up to Sprinkling Tarn, Great End and Great Gable for over fifty years now Tom thanks for taking me back! Its great to see where you started out on your youtube channel as this area is so inspirational! Hope you've got some images from here in your book which hopefully I'll receive next month here in Perth WA cant wait for it to arrive. Regards Carl

2020 , I've just checked when did i start watching your videos and i hade miss none! makes me remember my own start with a dslr and going out exploring nature ! you help alot ican say that ! ... keep the good work you made a big step too!!

I love that walk upto Sprinkling Tarn via Stockley Bridge and then straight up to the foot of Great End (before turning right at the top) which takes in some stunning mini waterfalls along the way.

After following you and a couple of others for about a year on KZread I decided it was time to purchase and it's all your fault I'm up early in the morning, going for a hike in the woods or hitting the beach and taking great pics. Funny coming back and seeing this first video again, remember when i first found you, only a few videos on your channel but they spoke to me, always loved the presentation and the music. Your images are great. A real difference in the talking speed compared to the slow (Prefered) speed now on your newer videos =)

Going to Lake District at the end of april for a week. Hope i get at least one day of decent weather. Only amateur photographer but your channel helps me a lot.

Boy Thomas you have come a long way! I don't remember how I found you, but so glad I did. You have inspired me to continue on this journey of landscape photography. I'd love to make it to the lake district one day ad maybe shoot in the same location you did. I was in England last week but lake district was to far from London for us to drive there. Have enjoyed all of your vlogs and enjoy all the new ones.. :-)

You started right off the bat with great production value. Much higher quality now, but well done mate.

I just finished watching all your vids. Really great stuff and inspires me to pick up my camera again and shoot. I actually have a few spots I know I want to shoot. Just a matter of driving/ hiking to them

I first saw this at your marathon lecture in Manassas (love the way you say that word). Tonight I am showing this and a more recent clip to my wife. I too have a caravan (RV in the USA) and a dear wife that supports my photo habit. Don't know if my wife is more forgiving because I make no money with my habit or if your wife is more forgiving because of all your work and all her work as a result of your habit. Take care. What a rad place!!! The Lake District looks amazing. I'd also say that with that one shot as your keeper it was totally a wheat while mission :)
